Just one more upddate to what I'm experiencing with my clutch slipping problem I had thought/hoped was fixed.
I had thought my clutch slipping problem was fixed when I reinstalled my engine very carefully this last time... a week later, I have clutch slipping again. I chalked it up both my buddy and I in there at the same time (pushing up 450 lb. payload for the first time, and maybe I just had the adjustment wrong... nope, that wasn't it...) so I think what's happening is my freshly rebuilt Slave Cylinder seems to be retaining a little pressure every time I work the clutch, gradually sneaking out... So it looks like I'll be pulling that again for rebuild number #2.
One question to you guys. I'm still running my original hyd. line from master to slave, and it certainly doesn't seem like it is swelling with each pump, but I imagine it might be degrading like a brake line not allowing the caliper to collapse, anyone had that happen? and how about a suggestion of a good place to find a new one?
