just so its known its great jack ashcraft has a headliner kit i bought one
but it is of a foam like? material
frankly i prefer the original material
what i did in one of my cars was to go to ur local home depot and goto mouldings section they have plastic mldg about an inch thick i took two pieces cut one a little shorter taped them together
basically it goes under rear rol bar and i loosened up visor/mirror screws and put under anyway it is rigid and acts kind of like a spring because of the tension at each end put in almost to the middle problem solved
