Yep I had the same problem. In fact I was only wondering this morning what I did there as I was fittting a new 160 degree thermostat as I have suffered overheating issues.
What I did was move the fitting from that point on the manifold to the spot on the thermostat housing where the temp controlled vacuum valve usually fits. Just run the vacuum line stright to the advace on the distributor, the other line was to the deceleration valve that you no longer need either.
At least thats what I reclon I did, well I did connect to that point, and not use the temp controlled switch, the thing I can't recall is where I got the fitting from, I can't recall if it came on the thermostat housing of the new manifold or I moved t.
I can dig out my old manifold and check if you want
