After doing much online research over a starter issue, I came across this article and thought it might be useful to others.

Note that I have no connection with aeroelectric, but certainly thank them and Bob Nuckolls for the informative and easily understood article. Even though the site is about aircraft wiring, it looks like there may be other info on the site that would apply to our old machines as well.
