I guess no one else will jump in, so I'll give it a shot.

There are several things that will cause shifting problems- clutch hydraulics, the clutch itself, the shifting mechanism, and of course the transmission.

In order to better troubleshoot it, you'll have to provide more detail as to the exact symptoms that occur when the problem happens. In particular, exactly what changes?? Is it a gradual change or a step-change?

For example, is the clutch engaging with half the pedal throw when cold, then changing (either closer to the floor or further from the floor) as the car warms up?

Or is it a gradual, increasing difficulty with the shift mechanism itself?

Does it change when the car is rolling vs it being stopped? What about if you turn off the motor- can you shift then?

Etc.

Have you tried the shift lever adjustments called out in the manual? I don't happen to have mine in front of me, and it's raining cats and dogs tonight, so I don't want to risk drowning to go and fetch it. But there might be a connection between first and reverse. The shifter is bolted to the floor and you can move it around a little bit by loosening the bolts. The manual explains how to do that adjustment.

Overall, the most common problem is hydraulics, and next is the sloppiness of the clutch release mechanism in the bell housing.
