We are trying to install a distributer in our V4 (Saab Sonett III – 74) and have an issue with interpreting the Saab V4 Service Manual. We don’t know for sure if:
1. The crankshaft pulley mark at TDC. is it actually at cyl 1 firing position?
2. At TDC, is the rotor position at the place shown in the picture link? Or is this 180 deg out?
We have had no luck getting the engine to turn over when we "think" we have followed the service manual, but obviously have issues.
Please help!
Thanks!
