I guess it depends what you want it for.
I bought a Wolf indoor car cover about 10 years ago for my Sonett- I think it was maybe $150. It fits pretty well. I had to make a hole for the radio antenna, but I made it with a soldering iron and it sealed the edges. It's cotton I think and breathable- that's what you want for an indoor cover- to breath and to keep off dust and bugs or whatever else is around. I use it when I put the car away for the winter.
You can google Wolf and find a selection of covers, some for outdoor use. And that brings up the other reason people use a cover. I have to say, I'm not a big fan of an outdoor cover in good ole Vermont where I live. By design, they are waterproof or water resistant, so they do trap moisture under them. The car is outside so all the moisture from the ground will gather under the cover- it will keep the car moist. And we all know what that leads to. So my choice, if I have to keep a car outside in the Northeast, is to not put a cover on it. I know not everyone will agree, but that's what I've done when I had bought one too many Saabs that I couldn't store inside a garage or barn.
So I'm happy with the Wolf one and would buy another. Never found any moisture buildup under it, even after months of storage in my garage or barn. And that's what's important to me.
