pop-up headlights

A while ago I posted about my hard to pull up headlights and got some good advice. Upon further invesigation it looks to me like all the linkage is working fine, it's the actual fiberglass headlight holders that are rubbing on the body. I guess it's kind of obvious from the rub marks on both headlights and their respective holes in the body. Anyway both are rubbing on the left side as they pop up and I was wondering if anyone knew how to get them back to center?
Thanks
