I will just say one thing about selecting insurance companies: be sure you check CLAIMS SERVICE as well as coverage and price! Getting a good price and the coverage you want is meaningless if the company doesn't pay up.
I don't know anything about the two companies mentioned here, I say this only as a general caveat. Actually, the way I know this is that I had to "educate" someone else the hard way: Back when I owned my beautiful '72 96, I had to drag a guy to court because his insurance company wouldn't settle a loss that was clearly his fault (we had witnesses, photos, skid marks, everything) and later a career insurance adjuster told me that his company (I won't mention its name, but it's a large well-known national company that advertises heavily) "makes a practice of resisting claims."
Because of his company's policy, the guy had to take time off work, go to court, and wound up paying more (attorney's fees etc.) than if his company had just written me a check for the damage he had done.
No, I don't know how to check an insurance company's claims-service ratings. You might start by just asking the agents, "What can you show me that independently demonstrates that you have good claims service?"
