Now I finally have a digital camera, so I can send you some pictures that I promised.
(I guess you guys had a great 20 year reunion? I saw the photos. I'm glad I am the only one that haven't aged in this 20 years, LOL.)
It's good that this costumer is not in a hurry. Because everything is more or less a monumental task in finding parts.
The bore in the cylinders are not corroded, so I don't want to send them out to have them sleeved and rebuilt, ( which would cost about $250.00 a pop ) Only put a new seal kit in would do the trick.
One funny thing is that both air filters came from the dealer in a new dark blue box, ( not the lighter blue they used years ago) So I guess that Saab is still manufacturing some parts for the Sonett.
I'm hoping to find someone that can go the extra mile in cross reference the seals, since it is Lockheed and Girling stuff, it must have been several other car brands that used the same seals.
The clutch slave cylinder is not a problem, we still have about 10 service kits left from the "old days"
