Well, as I've heard if you go over approx. 120 hp you stand the risk of failure. I have ran 2 different Sonetts in SCCA Rallycross for a few years now and have never had a single problem...other than linkage alignment, at the shifter. Now I ride the tranny pretty damn hard, hard starts in 1st, high revs in 2nd. Still drives great on the road. The motor I'm now running is about 90-100 hp, the other was a stock 1700cc.
Find a spare tranny if you want to drive hard. It takes all the worry about blowing your only one and not having parts.
