Nice Pictures, Bengt! I noticed the purple 74 in the foreground of the first picture, and in a few other pictures. This has to be a repaint, and is not a factory color. I have a 74 Sonett, S/N 2021, which was painted in the original Saab purple/violet and it is much lighter and more blue than this Sonett. My Sonett was repainted in bright red, but in a few spots the red has flaked off, and you can see the original color. Do you know if there are any existing Sonetts in the Sonett club of Sweden that are in the original violet? I'm thinking of having mine re-painted in the original color. According to the Swedish Sabklubben pages by Hans Eklund, that paint was only made by Sadolin o Holmblad and it does not have a DuPont, Glasurit, or Sikkens paint number. Is that paint available in Sweden? The Saab part number was 78 59 671. I'm certain that I can match the color here in the US, but it would be fun to import the original paint and then have what I think would be a very unique Sonett, unless there are a lot of violet Sonetts than I think there are. Thanks for the pictures. Bob in Utah
