...You need to be carefull. Your pump is rebuildable. In the 1970's, the pump was switched to one that is not rebuildable but looks almost the same and fits. If you want a new pump, go for the newer design. If you want a rebuildable pump, go for the old one. You might find the older pumps at Jack lawrence, Chip Lamb, Tim Nines, and occasionally on Ebay. The newer one should be on Ebay, and I would also call Sobstory (doot) com and Eeuroparts.
Some of the European Saab clubs have the filter rebuild kits for DIY'ers, but since my computer crash I lost their URL's. If you search this BB for Jack Lawrence, you will find his tele number. Tim Nines is in the mechanics sction in NC. He is a really nice and agreeable man who is very helpful. Chip has gone out of his way to refer me to people despite the fact I have never purchased from him. He seems like a nice guy.
