They did not rub at all with the soccerballs but in the back they did on the Highgates with two people in the car. That was cured with a set custom MSS springs (with a slightly stiffer rate) and KYB shocks.
The Falkens were recommended by Jack Ashcraft. They got highest rating in Consumer Reports a couple years ago. After picking up one of MSS' wheels made from welding two soccerballs to get a 5-1/2 inch width) at Carlisle, I decided to go with the Highgates and a relatively lightweight tire. The Highgates are much lighter than the original or re-welded soccerballs, and the Falkens are also lighter than average. The combo gives the car minimum unsprung weight.
