Hi Sue,
I have had Haggerty for about 6 years now, and I love them! I have NO restrictions on mileage. Their only stipulation was that this vintage car must not be your daily driver/commute to work car. (ie you must have Geico/USAA/ or some other insurance company policy with your daily driver car.)
Haggerty quotes you an "AGREED" value. ie you tell them how much you want your car insured for, and they quote you a price, usually "full coverage" including comprehensive and collision.
For my 2 cars:
1969 Sonett V4, I have an agreed (insured) value of $10,000
1971 Sonett III, I have an agreed value of $6000
for both of these two cars I pay only about $125 PER YEAR FOR FULL COVERAGE!!!!!
I have never needed to submit a claim, and I do have a lockable garage. they will want a current digital (or mailed print photo) to show the condition of the car.
Hope this helps!
