....All my lights work but I can't get my blinkers or hazards to work. Any tips?
derek900,
I looked at my 71 Sonett and it has a Red #30 power infeed wire at position #1 (Fan) the opposite wire on the 72 should be #30a (White). According to my manuals the 72 has six cables marked #30; one Blue, one Green and four Red (The manual does not state which #30 wire is where). Test your Blue wire for power (key on) and ohms (key off). What type of end piece does it have? Can you trace it back under the dash, what is it attached to or coming from, etc?
The black wire that comes out of the center of the steering column attaches to a tab on the horn button. If this is not the wire you are discribing test it for power (key on) and ohms (key off) does it have a number on the black end cover? What type of end piece does it have? Can you trace it back under the dash, what is it attached to or coming from, etc?
If your 72 fuse panel is set up like my 71's you should also have a power infeed at positions #5, 6 (two wires) & 7.
Hopfully your hazards and turn signals problem will be over.
