Stan--if it's the first time out after the winter, I'd look to see if any mice had made a home somewhere and nibbled something, or that corrosion had opened up a circuit over time. A clue is that both lights are behaving the same, so the problem is common to both. I had the same problem and just used a trace light with the needle tip that can go into the insulation, and with some alligator clips explored the circuit. BTW, how's the switch?
