Last year of Swedish make before GM buyout body changes, mechanically sound w/ records included, fuel efficient. Specifics: 4 cylinder 16 valve non-turbo, 4 new tires, all new belts, updated cold R134 A/C, driver airbag, ABS, good auto transmission (newly serviced), 4 snow tires with plastic wheels (hub covers) to match, 87,000 miles original, new drivers seat bottom, new CD Player and speakers, new fog lights, no rust problems, no mechanical problems, upkeep receipts included. There are minor cosmetic issues, including small ding/dent at drivers side rear near brake light, sagging headliner tacked into place, but has tacks showing. The lack of rust is impressive.

1989 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 5/8/2008)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 257,000 Price: $1,000
This car has rust in the front end. I have sadly taken it off the road. Other than that it is a beautiful SPG. This car was running great when I parked it a month ago. This was going to be my 1-million mile Saab. New radiator, distributor, cv joints. Dash has only one crack. Drivers seat shows wear but no rips. Other seating is excellent. A/C and cruise works. Head liner has fallen. Door bottoms have rust Great parts car or possibly a welding project. email me for more information.

1993 Saab 900S Sedan (Posted 5/5/2008)
Color: Black Trans: Automatic Mileage: 124,000 Price: $2,200
The good: Our baby has been well maintained, with lots of new parts including head gasket, front brakes, heat shield, coolant sensor and fuel pump all in last few years. Body is good as are tires and paint, brown leather seats in nice shape. A/C and sunroof both work well. Transmission shifts smoothly. Burns virtually no oil and purrs like a kitten on the highway. The bad: Will be needing some new parts to keep it going strong for another 124K and I don’t have the time to mess with it right now. Has an occasional vibration when pulling away from a stop which I’m told signifies worn motor mounts, and eventually will need inner driver. Will probably need rear brake job in near future (front was done last year). The ugly (minor stuff): headliner starting to sag and minor cracks on dash top. Just a bit of bubble rust over r/r fender. Otherwise looks amazingly good for a ’93.

1990 Saab 900 Hatchback (Posted 5/5/2008)
Color: dark blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 149,XXX Price: $950
1990 Saab 900 hatchback with 149,000 miles and clear Florida title. Strong engine (not turbo), new brakes, good tires, has been professionally serviced. I am the second owner and I drive it almost daily. The headliner is tacked up and the dash has a few sun cracks, but seat upholstery is good (original blue fabric). It has the factory radio/cassette deck which works. I have owner's manuals for the radio and the car and most service records from myself and from the first owner. Runs well except for a not working AC; also it makes a clicking noise in first gear which does not seem to affect anything (mechanic says a chipped gear tooth). Heated seats work but aren't used much here in Florida. Selling because I have to move out of state and don't have a good way to bring it with me.

1993 Saab 900 Turbo Hatchback (Posted 5/5/2008)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 93,000 Price: $4,699
This 1993 SAAB Turbo is truly a unique classic w/ an unique history. This is the last year that SAAB made this "classic" body style. Also, at the time of purchase, the dealer stated that this car was the very last one of this model shipped to CA. The car has been well maintained by the original non-smoking owner. All scheduled maintenance has been performed w/ the records available for the new owner. The car is fully loaded, looks & runs great and has low mileage. Leather seats, premium sound system w/ cd changer, alloy wheels, power doors and windows, etc... The paint in the hood has a few fade spots, otherwise the car looks great. This car is a must see for any SAAB enthusiast!!!
Please contact me anyday between 9am-9pm if you're interested in taking a look at this classic.

1982 Saab 900 S (Posted 5/5/2008)
Color: Beige (Alabaster) 189 B Trans: Manual Mileage: 228,000 Price: $3500
Wonderfully maintained two-owner car. No rust. Glossy paint. Runs perfect. No odd noises. No leaks. Drives straight. Good brakes. Maintenance records are a testament to owners' love for the car. Dash intact. Instruments all work, including clock. Both front seats tastefully bolstered & re-upholstered with enough fabric left over for the rear. Carpet exceptional. Door panels intact. Recent work: new valve cover gasket, water pump, tires, alternator and more. Nice Pioneer stereo. Door and window seals exceptional. Could be a daily driver but I only drove a few hundred miles a year for last two years I owned it. The car is too well-preserved to take risks on the mean streets of Dallas. NOTE: car has no factory a/c. Southern California car bought without the option. I can have a certified Saab tech install a/c for you on your nickel. Numerous spare parts available. Email for details & pictures.

1990 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 4/26/2008)
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 244,000 Price: $2,500 OBO
Selling my baby. Would love to find a good home for her. This car has been well maintained and cared for by Saab certified mechanics. One of whom is my uncle. I have all the maintenance records. The vast majority of the 244,000 miles are highway miles. The car is very solid mechanically: engine runs great, the turbo is strong and provides great boost, and the transmission is in good shape. The clutch has been replaced, as well as the steering rack. And now for the bad: headliner sags and has been cut away in places, odometer and AC don’t work, dashboard is cracked, and there is a bit of rust in the usual places (typical Saab stuff). The car comes with 2 sets of wheels: summer (regular Saab 900 wheels) and winter (silver steel).

1985 Saab 900 S (Posted 4/23/2008)
Color: RED Trans: Manual Mileage: 130,000 Price: $1200
Bought this in '04, w/101k miles, from an elderly gentleman in Greenwich, CT, who was still getting the oil changed at the dealership. I've done a lot of work to it, and it comes with countless spare and extra parts: please follow this link to more than 200 photos - http://www.flickr.com/photos/15316718@N06/sets/72157604094541256/.
The odometer stopped at 105k about a year ago, I've gone about 5k miles since, and a sticker in the door jamb indicates that the odometer was replaced at 19,600, so there's about 130k miles on it now. It's very solid and dependable. Includes EIGHT rims: the 4 currently on the car are mounted with Continental ContiProContacts (10/07), 2 are mounted w/snows (at LEAST one season left on them), and 2 are "bare." Let me know if you have any questions, or would like other photos taken.

1987 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 4/22/2008)
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 269,000 Price: $700
Offering this car for sale. Had it for 10 years but rust has reared it's ugly head. The floor boards on the left and right are gone and most recently at the rear suspension trailing arms attachment points. It is a true SPG and has all the features. The suspension parts are all in good shape(springs, shocks, etc). The grey body mouldings are in good shape. Engine does not burn oil(have always used Mobil 1. Tranny was rebuild by Erikkson Enterprised in Old Saybrook, CT when I bought it and I have used Redline MTL only. I have European headlights in it and a couple of years ago I had the front seats redone in leather look-alike vinyl. I also have redone the headliner. I don't want to drive it any more but it would perfect for someone to turn a 900 Turbo into an SPG. Everthing is there. If don't sell it here in the next week I will probably donate it to a Vo-Tech school. It's been a great car but these things happen. Thanks for looking.

Factory rebuilt trans and new clutch at 190k miles. Head gasket at 150k, timing chain and gears and guides and cover andoil pump at 140k, fresh turbo at 170k, aluminum radiator at 180k. It has a 3.8 BAR fuel regulator, juiced APC box, Abbott racing atmospheric dump valve, K&N open filter, NA intake cam, all metal intercooler, ported exhaust manifold with restrictor removed and many untold performance tweaks. Car has full SPG supension installed- springs, shocks and sway bars at 130k. 1989 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 4/9/2008)
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 160,000 Price: $2500
The Good: 1989 Saab 900 SPG Turbo with just under 160,000 miles. Runs great, strong engine, with low-mileage tires. Features: 5-speed manual transmission, air conditioner, stereo with subwoofer and six-CD changer, aftermarket alarm, sunroof, hatchback with the stock spoiler. The car moved here from California with me, so it's been subject to decades of nice weather and can fit a 9'2" surfboard with the seats down. It's ready for its second 160,000.The Bad: Ignition key, right turn signal lens, and the windshield wiper reservoir tank all need replacing. The Ugly: The headliner's fallen down and been trimmed out and there are a couple of paint chips in the body. Honestly, though, it's a beautiful car in good cosmetic shape.I'm in Washington DC. http://www.flickr.com/photos/21708307@N05/sets/72157604531814452/

1986 Saab 900 Turbo 3-Door, w/2 running parts cars (Posted 3/25/2008)
Color: Arctic Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 112,000 Price: $2,200 firm
This has been me and my wife's personal car for the past three years we've enjoyed it emmensely. The car had one previous owner to us and we still have the original books and records and title/original purchase paperwork from new york. The car has had many repairs over the years including, front calipers, all new front end, major sevice, recent exhaust, upgraded amplified sound system with tweeters in the dash and Alpine CD player with equilizer. Repco metal master brake pads in all four brakes. The cars transmission is in good shape other than reverse, it is still functioning but only when you hold it in and back up on flat surfaces...The car runs and drives well. Two parts cars will be included with the sale of this car, one california bodied running/driving 87 900t that could stay on the road, and a 85 four-door 900t from Nevada that needs a fuel pump and the clutch bled. That car is alpine white with Colorado red leather. Both have good five speed transmissions with no noises and good reverse gears. I have been a saab mechanic for over 15 years and am getting rid of all my old cars to start a new business. This is a great opportunity for someone I just don't have the time to deal with these cars. All three cars either have minimal rust or no rust at all. All fenders, control arm areas, frame rails, trunk bellies, are extremely solid in all three cars. The arctic silver car has some innner door rust but it is repairable. The car was always stored in the winter since we owned it since 76k miles. Not one of these cars has ever been in any major accidents. The price is firm, it's well worth the package. The rear louver and airflow covers do not go with the car, sorry.

1988 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 3/25/2008) SOLD
Color: Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 259,000 Price: $2950
We are retiring soon, and moving to sunny Florida so we are downsizing our fleet of 900's.This 88 SPg has been a great runner for the past 8000 miles after receiving an engine transplant. We had a new steering rack put in as well, when the old engine came out.The current engine is a 100,000 miler that was freshened up before it was put in and it runs just great, and doesn't burn any oil.The body is straight, the paint is thin in spots though, there are a couple of parking lot dings,a rust spot above the right front wheel arch ,as well as rust spots on the lower inside door sills. All the spoiler stuff is there, and overall the car looks good for one 20 years old with this kind of mileage.Inside there are no rips in the leather seats, the headliner is in excellent condition, there are a couple of cracks in the dash. The heated seats are not working, and the we found that the sunroof doesn't close properly, so once we got it closed we haven't used it since. This has been a well maintained car,it's a great driver, and I would have no reservations of driving it anywhere at any time.

This 900S is a black two door with a manual transmission and turbo. Within the last 12,000 miles the major work includes rebuilding the engine, the turbo and the transmission. It runs fine but needs a bit of work to correct minor deficiencies. Due to an illness, I can no longer drive my beloved Saab and I would like to find it a new home. If not, and your 900S could use a transplant of the rebuilt components, it will still give me joy that another 900S will continue on down the road.

1985 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 3/18/2008) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 320K+ Price: $2300
1985 900 Turbo 4-door. Love this car. Hate to sell, but with #3 due, had to get a mini-van. Tan leather, sunroof, Pioneer stereo with cassette. 320K miles, but the car has been completely rebuilt. Original owner spent $30,000-$40,000 just since 1996 repairing, rebuilding and repainting it. (French’s Foreign Car, Irving, TX.) I have kept the car in top running condition (service by East of Sweden, Boulder, CO, who says it is in the best condition of any older model they have ever seen). Engine runs smoothly, brakes are great; turbo runs like a top. New battery, new tires. The car has never been in any accidents, has always been maintained for safety and reliability, and records are available back to 1996. It’s a gem, will last a long time with good care. If interested, please contact me at my email.
1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 3/17/2008) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 211,715 Price: $5800
My 5th Saab is this 1992 900T which is in very good condition. I purchased the car in 2003 from another Saab enthusiast in Orlando FL and brought it to Maine. The car has been in a garage since it came to me and only driven in the summer. I have installed: Full Alpine, JL Audio, Boston Acoustic sound system with IPOD connection. The upper DIN houses VDO gauges for boost, voltage and oil pressure. The car has been upgraded to the Swedish Dynamics Red Series Stage 4 APC, Red Series fuel injectors/EPROM and a high pressure BPV. The increased performance is very noticeable with this combination. The car has a new cat back Saab exhaust, new windshield, Michelin Hydroedge tires and new clutch and slave cylinder in the past 12 months. I have many replaced many small parts and have an old set of Saab steel wheels with studded snow tires from my 89 900 that will come with the car. I only drove the car a few days last year and want it to go to another Saab fan that will enjoy having it as much as I have. Serious inquires please.

1993 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 3/13/2008)
Color: White Trans: Automatic Mileage: 192,000 Price: $3500
1993 Saab 900. This is a custom built ride built in 2006 with the best 900 Body we could find and the best engine/dash/transmission we could find. Added a Saab factory "RED BOX" ECU (hand carried from Sweden by my mechanic as it is sold as a SAAB factory option in Sweden but not the U.S.) and viola! This is an easy to drive automatic with a FAST "go-kart" feel. All electronics and features work well. Cruise control, power sunroof, Heated seat, foglights, aftermarket cd/radio/aux. New tires and brakes in Feb.08. New oil every 3 or 4 months. Picking up my new Saab next Friday, must sell this one a.s.a.p. Camas, WA near PORTLAND, OR

1992 Saab 900 non-turbo (Posted 3/5/2008)
Color: Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 131,000 Price: Best Offer
Since the car was listed, the head gasket has started to fail. Due to this I now want to sell the car "as is" and for the best offer in the next week or so. If anyone wants to take the car on as a project please make me an offer.
This gorgeous, rust-free 900, is waiting for the right owner. It has low miles, and many new parts on it. Originally born as an automatic, it had a new manual (dealer) transmission installed around 70K miles. The syncromesh on all the gears is extremely crisp, and no whines at all. There is NO rust on the car, it is perfect, since it was garaged almost its entire life. The highlights of the car: 4 new tires, new exhaust, new battery, new ignition lock, front and rear leather seats professionally re-stitched (no tears), new headliner, new tie rod ends. This is a very good looking car, and it is extremely hard to find one with such low miles and rust-free in New England.

1986 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 3/5/2008)
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 260,000 Price: $6000
MY loss is your gain: I have owned this awesome SPG for 4 years. I kept it in storage for the first three and put about $12,000 into it last year. Upgrades include: complete paint and rust removal,(the paint and body work alone cost more than I am selling it for) new Edwardian Grey paint with new rust-free doors of a 93' 900. Complete new suspension system (shocks and springs) lowered roughly two inches; Completely new braking system (calipers, pads, rotors); complete new cooling system; complete new dashboard professionally installed. New Kumho Tires, new center pieces in wheels, new mats including cusom rear mat. This car runs and drives perfectly and is very fast. I was originally going to go all the way and rework the engine and transmission but they work perfectly, it passed inspection last year. I also have in my possession a complete new $2,000 leather refit kit that was custom made which I would sell separately if one desires. Everything works from the AC to the cruise control and I have EVERY receipt to prove the work I have done, always garage kept. I would love to see this classic go to a good home. Serious Inquiries only please
