Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 157,541 Price: $15,500
Beautiful, Rust Free. Purchased this car 1.5 years ago and believe I am the 5th owner. All owners have babied this car which is why it is in such great condition, a rare find. From what I found out from the previous owner, the car was originally purchased in Kentucky, spent time in Virginia, moved on to Minnesota where it never saw the rain or snow, then ended up in North Carolina. I had the car shipped up to Massachusetts where it was garaged and never saw the snow or salted roads. The paint still shines bright. There are rock chip marks on hood but other than that, very clean. The driver's seat back has a 2 inch split, and the driver's door window has vertical scratches on it. Usual dash cracks but a dash cover has been used for many years now it seems. The headliner is perfect and does not sag. Radio is not original. Cruise does not work. AC blows ice cold. Windows, antenna and sunroof working as they should. Power locks and heated seats work when they want to.. on and off. Odometer rarely works. It reads 157,541 but my best guess is it really is around 157,850. Engine runs like a gem. Battery is strong as I keep a trickle connected during the winter. Included is original manual and parts replacement history for the last 14 years. Breaks work fine and tires are in great shape at 8mm. I can safely say this is a beautiful example of a 900 SPG. It is becoming harder and harder to find these cars and I really insist that this ride be purchased by an enthusiast who will continue to keep this baby in pristine condition. Be prepared to have many conversations with the strangers who will approach you to speak of the Saabs of their past. It's a show stopper.

First off, caveat emptor! While up in New England nearly a decade ago, the clutch slave actuator totally failed; and as I had to get myself, my young daughter, and my SAAB back home to the northern mid-west, I strong-armed the stick shifter to the point where I had evidently bent or broke the gate for first gear. Otherwise, no apparent damage to the tranny. The clutch disk and pressure plate were overdue for renovation, so considering possibly compensating for excessive stress on the drive train —absent first gear— I opted for high-end, heavy-duty Sachs replacement parts. Since then, no smoke, no bad smells, no evident slippage. After rebuilding the master and slave clutch hydraulics, I found it would be impracticably pricey to have a specialist remove and reconstruct the tranny; and to my surprise, I found that starting it in second was in no way problematical, since in every other aspect it was apparently OK: the four other forward gears and reverse were unaffected, no grinding, no leaks, no unusual noises.. Notwithstanding that, it was —minus first gear—my primary daily driver, getting 30+ mpg on the Interstates…until two years ago, when the Hall effect sensor had failed and all the electrics went down totally. After sitting idle, mostly indoors, for many months, I had it towed to ace SAAB shop Petersen Automotive in Skokie, IL where they replaced the sensor(s) and got it to the point where the engine would start and run normally (cost me $460). Can be made generally roadworthy if they (or the buyer) install four new tires and the battery (complete replacement of all fluids also advisable). Otherwise, must be towed (will reduce my asking price by $700 if towable only!). But if I have to pay for the tires and battery, that will up the asking price by $400! No through-panel rust (originally Arizona car, I'm third owner); no dents; no appreciable leaks, absolutely perfect interior; many extra parts including, four brand new shocks in boxes, an only slightly-used complete and hard-to-find ABS assembly never unpacked from when I bought it online some years ago; and also high-end post-market late 1990s component audio system (for which I can’t now put my finger on the anti-theft code). Roof rack and quite nice Thule OEM cargo carrier shown in pix not presently mounted but will include it for another $200.

Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 200,000+ Price: $2500
Currently sitting due to a dead fuel pump and leaking steering rack. Has been sitting for almost a year now. A trailer or tow truck will be needed to move it. The engine did run before it sat. There were some lean issues but it ran and drove. There is some rust on the passenger side front fender. Dent on the driver side front fender. Paint is in poor condition. Many spare parts come with the car. Good: Newer front tires only All vacuum lines are silicone New intake gasket All gears work and shifts well Newer trunk struts Heater works great New MAF Bad: Steering rack leaking badly Clutch master cylinder leaking Dead fuel pump Cracked dash Small cracks/chips on windshield Some rust Leather seats torn Heated seats don't work Driver side window doesn't work Rear main seal leaking AC never worked and was removed (have the compressor) Reverse lights work but don't turn on Moon roof kind of works/tracks broken It will need a new fuel pump and steering rack rebuild to get it running. Clean OR title. Email with any questions.

- 1990 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 2/5/2024)
SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 265,000 Price: $2000 or Best Offer
I am selling my 1990 900 Turbo with 260 k and with a transmission that has been "rebuilt" twice but failed again. The good: California car-no rust. The engine is in perfect condition despite its age (new main and rod bearings replaced during a previous r+r), turbocharger rebuilt at the same time, passed CA smog inspection last year and has been parked since, everything works including the A/C (converted to r-134), the car comes with a Thule roof rack/bike carrier, a lot of miscellaneous parts - headlights, taillights, relays, switches, I can provide a list/pictures upon request. The bad: Gearbox needs a overhaul (the car is drivable but the trans is noisy and pops out of 5th when coasting), the car was rear-ended a few years ago and I replaced the needed body parts, but the body above the right rear wheel is slightly deformed (see picture). Dashboard is cracked, Driver's seat leather has a poorly repaired crack.

- 1993 Saab 900S (Posted 1/31/2024)
SOLD
Color: Navy Trans: Manual Mileage: 151,000 Price: $4,500
I picked up this 1993 Saab 900S from its third owner in Helena, MT back in December of 2020. Before that it was owned by two different author/poet/artist Gents in the San Francisco area. I can go into more details about previous owners in person if you'd like. Like many Saabs, it has an interesting history, and has extensive records. It was a good car when I purchased it, and it's even better now. I've been driving/owning/wrenching on c900s for 20+ years, this is my 6th c900, and it's in better mechanical condition than all its predecessors. The paint is what you'd expect from a car this old, and the interior is pretty solid in comparison, but is still far from perfect. I've done the vast majority of the work on this myself, but when I get stumped it goes up to East of Sweden (in Boulder, CO) and Bear (2nd gen Saab mechanic) finds the issue and sends me on my way. I've got a more extensive write-up available upon request (service records, known issues, many photos etc.)
- 1984 Saab 900 (Posted 1/13/2024)
SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 133,000 Price: $6000
Amazing condition! I bought it from the 1st owner about a year ago and the only reason I'm selling it is because I'm leaving the country very soon. I re-did the door and ceiling upholstery recently, replaced the fuel accumulator, fixed the motor temperature gauge and a few other things in the engine. The car need alignment and a new pre-pump. Even tho I have been able to drive it fine with the faulty pre-pump. It would be my next two other fixes if I wasn't leaving. The cosmetics of the car are impressively great. I believe the previous owner kept it in a garage and drove it eventually only. Except for small bump in the drivers door, the car looks amazing. Interior as well. I'm asking price above because I want to sell it fast! I might consider a discount as a incentive because of the alignment and pre-pump issues. VIN YS3AM35J9E2008775. Thanks!
- 1991 Saab 900 S (Posted 12/19/2023)
SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 189,000 Price: $2800
This 900S has been my daily driver for about 3 years and is looking for a good home. I'm selling it because my wife doesn't drive a manual stick. It's been dependable and loads of fun to drive. It could use a new antenna motor and the air conditioner needs to be looked into. I've never used the AC so I haven't a clue as far as what it needs. Pioneer Stereo. The motor runs strong and it comes with an extra set of Saab wheels. The interior is camel color and has the normal small cracks in the black dashboard. The seats have some issues with the leather. The clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder were replaced about 20k miles ago. The gear assembly was completely replaced and shifts beautifully. The hatchback had new piston lifts put in about 6 months ago. If you're into Saab and want a car you can enjoy and you don't mind putting in a little TLC from time to time, then this could be a dream come true.
- 1993 Saab 900 Commemorative Edition #36 Of 325 (Posted 12/18/2023)
SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 108,000 Price: $35,000
1993 900 CE #36 of 325. 108,000 miles. Documentation available. Car is very close to immaculate. Almost everything works, A/C (still original R-12 and blows painfully cold), electric seat heaters work, mirrors, windows, OEM door locks and alarm system with 2 Saab Leather Covered & embossed Fobs, OEM Bosch fog lights with protective covers, headlight wipers, all of these work. The only thing that is temperamental is the cruise control. This is an unmolested Saab, factory everything, if it did not work and needed to be repaired, and parts were available/rebuildable, then OEM Saab parts were installed. All the glass is Original Saab, except for the windshield, which was ordered from a Saab parts warehouse, but unfortunately OEM glass was no longer available. The interior is about a 9.5 for still having the original leather, carpeting, floor mats, and dash (No Cracks). The headliner and interior velour door insert panels, were replaced 8 or 10 years ago with like material and look like OEM new. The stereo system is the Clarion original, AM/FM, tape player, and Single Disc CD/EQ unit they all work. The car has the badge # plate mounted in front of the shift lever on the center console. There is no RUST anywhere other than very slight surface rust on the underside of the rear axel and a hand full of suspension parts. It's amazingly clean under the car, and I have not been under there scrubbing, or had it professionally detailed, I've just kept it that way. I am the owner for the past 20 years I believe I am the second owner, I purchased it from B& B Saab in Santa Clara, CA in 2003. The car spent most of its life in storage along side a few aircraft and a few more Saabs from the collection over the past 20 years. My biggest regret is that I have only driven it about 15,000 miles in 20 years, I should have driven it more! Within the past 3 years I have accumulated about $10,000 + in maintenance receipts. If you are tired of wasting your time going to look at so called "Mint Condition" rare Commemorative Edition Saab 900's, only to find a used and abused lemon, then this car will be a breath of fresh air. I would drive this car anywhere in the world today. Car has all new suspension, shocks, wheel bearings, rubber bushings, all installed ALL OEM if available if not they were replaced with best alternative. The tires are in great shape V-rated Michelin (no longer available but nice tires). The paint is is great shape for being 30+ years old. There are a few very small chips and 2 or 3 door dimples when gun sighting the side, but the clear coat shines so well, I think you will have a hard time finding any flaws. The Car is not perfect, but it is so, so, very close for an unrestored 30 year old vehicle that you will be amazed. New Optima battery, with quick disconnect for storage, and has a full SAAB custom car cover and a windshield/Dash sun shade if you are brave enough to leave it parked somewhere? It still has that new Saab smell, it must be the real leather right? I am not interested in trades, except for possibly an equally pristine 1971-1974 yellow or green Sonnet III with no rust, or I might trade up or down for an aircraft? Asking $35,000, will only entertain offers in person, as I don't need to sell it, but perhaps there is someone out there who wants one of the last, the best of the best, that will only appreciate in value as the years roll by.

- 1992 Saab 900S Sedan (Posted 12/16/2023)
SOLD
Color: Silver Trans: Automatic Mileage: 180,000 Price: $3500
This car is 100% rust free. It was bought new in Dallas TX by a Delta airlines pilot and looks like it was well cared for. At this point pretty much everything on this car has been replaced except for the engine and transmission itself. Items Replaced: - New rebuilt rack and pinion, new PS pump, all new lines for PS system. - New upper and lower ball joints as well as new tie rod ends wheel bearings, front and rear, and new cv axles. - Brakes are all new minus the master cylinder; new flex lines, calipers, cross drilled rotors ceramic pads. - On the engine side: - Fresh oil change, Amsoil, - Completely new ignition system: plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, ignition amplifier, crank position sensor, O2 sensor. - Fuel system and delivery: new used fuel tank, clean and crack free, new fuel pump and filter, new fuel pressure regulator, new BOSCH rebuilt injectors and a new MAF sensor. - Other Engine related: new harmonic balancer, new alternator, new water pump, oil pump o-ring and crank seal replaced. New battery, and a new AC compressor. - Other: All lights have been converted to LED and a new digital turn signal relay has been installed.. The stereo deck itself does not go with the car but I am happy to install any stereo you bring with you. The previous owner had Best Buy install a Sony tape deck in the car 20-25 years ago so the factory harness is not there anymore. The car also has brand new tires less than 1000 miles. - The Automatic Transmission shifts smoothly and does not slip jerk or have any issues of any kind. - The Body is pretty straight for a 30 year old car, there is a shallow dent in the passenger side rear door, and the clear coat has faded on that same door. Otherwise the car is in very nice shape. - Interior is clean, the headliner is in great shape, the dash only has 2 small cracks and the leather is not dried out. The stitching on the drivers seat will need to be repaired but the leather itself is in good shape, the stitching holes are not ripped. The car handles as good as I would imagine it would coming off the showroom floor.

- 1986 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 12/12/2023)
SOLD
Color: Edwardian Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 264k Price: $3000 or Best Offer
Having to sell my beloved saab, kids going to college. Car is in great condition, engine doesn't realize it is 40 years old, great turbo boost! Little rust over front wheel wells, paint is fine but needs buffing. Headliner could be replaced.
- 1987 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 11/24/2023)
SOLD
Color: Edwardian Gray Trans: Manual Mileage: 190,000 Price: $3000
I've owned this for about 15 years; I bought it out of San Diego. I've found no rot in the undercarriage, door jambs, etc, but the paint has started to crack/flake and there is some surface rust, but nothing serious. First gear is clicking, and will need to be repaired, but the rest of the gears seem fine. The interior needs some work due to some cracking on the dash, leather seats and it will need a new headliner since it is sagging. I've had a bit of engine maintenance/tuning done over the years along with the Swedish Dynamics upgraded Redbox. Recently the ignition cylinder broke and I can't get it started until I replace that part, but I had it in a Saab shop about 2 weeks ago, and they were able to start it and drive it around, but I didn't have the cylinder replaced since it was a bit pricey due to the amount of labor involved - something I figured I could do myself when I find the time. It would be great if this went to someone that knows what it is and will bring it back to life. The rear hatch is not original, so don't let the badges on there fool you; it came off an 85 turbo since the original hatch was damaged. This car does run and drive, and I drove it around quite a bit earlier this year until the ignition cylinder broke - so due to that, it will need to be trailered. The mileage is a guess since the odometer stopped working. I've got some extra parts and an extra gearbox to go with it as well. Hit me up for additional photos and videos of it running and driving this Summer. I've got the original window sticker as well.
- 1991 Saab 900S Sedan (Posted 11/20/2023)
SOLD
Color: Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 143,300 Price: $3500
This is my 10th Saab; I love classic 900s, and have always had a soft spot for the 4-door sedan body style. I bought this one back in the summer thinking that it was a perfect-looking time capsule, probably the best 4-door around. It's not quite that, but it does have a lot going for it. The car drives just as a 900 should; it has some pep despite being a non-turbo, it shifts beautifully, tracks straight, and stops the way it should, with new brakes; also has 4 new Vredestein tires with less than 1000 miles. I regularly get 26-30 mpg in mixed driving on non-ethanol high test; I've put about 1200 fair-weather miles on it. From 8 feet away, the car looks stunning. Up close, it has the various scratches and dings you'd expect of a car of this age and mileage. The only rust comes in the form of some paint bubbles on a common rust spot on the side of the hood, and that has been drenched with rust-proofing treatment. The interior is beautiful, with leather in near-perfect condition, a good headliner (but the headliner on the sunroof is a little loose), and a molded plastic dashboard cover that makes the dash look new. Previous owner installed a small diameter sport steering wheel; I have an OEM airbag wheel to give you. Previous owner also installed a sportier exhaust tip that gives modest and kind of cool burbles when shifting from 1-2 or 2-3. It's quiet and tasteful. Cruise, heated seats, sunroof and radio do not work. Fuel gauge does not work, but I have a fuel sending unit to give you. Will also include 5 OEM alloy wheels from a 1994 900s convertible. Car drops a few oil drops in the garage. Sold on a bill of sale only; VT does not issue titles for cars over 15 years old. This is a lot of classic 900 for the money; I am into it for way more than I am asking, but I need the garage space back. Hope it goes to someone who knows and lives these as much as I do.
