1991 Saab 900 non turbo with 28,000 original miles, totally clean undercarriage no rust, very minor surface rust on a dent on rear hatch. Interior needs some tlc, sagging headliner, dash isn't cracked but has a few holes where gauges have been mounted. Runs and drives great... This car is a factory Saab airport friction tester, water tank still present, 5th wheel apparatus intact minus wheel, Could be a great car with some minor cosmetic work.

Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 165,389 Price: $1,200
Solid 4 door, 2.1 liter southern car purchased as a project. Paint is in very good condition with no evidence of rust. Leather interior is excellent. Engine runs but head gasket will be needed soon. New muffler in 2015 and recent clutch replacement. Small tear in head liner but interior is great! Clutch is good but needs adjustment. This car was a daily driver until May of 2016. I purchased it as a project but found a '92 Saab 9000 that needed saving. More photos available in classified gallery:

Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 250,xxx Price: $5500 OBRO
1992 Saab 900 Turbo. Engine and transmission run very strong. This car is the result of merging my 1990 SPG drivetrain, APC system, interior and SPG panels onto a base RUST FREE Black 900. This was after my 1990 SPG rusted out. The car has a new headliner, newer dashboard with just one small crack (this is the earlier thin version that is better at resisting cracking). I have had a lot of work done to this car in the past couple of years, including regular service and oil change, and have replaced the following parts: distributor, oil cooler and hoses, alternator, water pump, battery, shocks, brakes, clutch slave and master cylinders and fluid line. I have done a lot of cosmetic work to the car, mostly on the interior - replaced the dash, newer switches, turn signal that stays up, reflocked the coin and console trays. I also have spent some time tidying up the engine bay. The car runs great, you will not be disappointed. I also have lost of spare parts, both big and small, that I will include in the sale in boxes. Thanks! Rich

- 1993 Saab 900 Turbo Coupe Commemorative Edition (Posted 8/8/2017) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 79,000 Price: $8200
Approximately original and correct 79,000 miles (vehicle has been used weekly). Everything original, interior in amazing condition, without leather seat rips, no dashboard rips, but headliner is beginning to sag. Original radio with working cassette player. Manual transmission in amazing condition. A/C works but needs gas. Cruise control works on and off, only rust is a small bubble area next to the driver's side spoiler. I am the second owner. The vehicle was originally sold in Anchorage, AK and also lived in Washington state. The reason for selling this beauty: I have a teen son that needs a car and I cannot pay for another car insurance, otherwise would keep it. For more picture, see my Saabnet.com Member Photo Gallery:

- 1991 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 8/2/2017) Share this Saab->
Color: Talladega Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 176,xxx Price: $4500
Up for sale I have my 1991 SPG in Talladega red. While not museum quality, the car is in GOOD condition and I would classify this as a driver. It is also, as you know, 1 of only 40 and the last year of the SPG. This is a very rare car, you don't see this year car in this color in any condition for sale very often. The previous owner has done a lot to the car: replaced all engine seals (less head gasket), rebuilt transmission (unfortunately it still has pinion whine), all the major rust issues repaired, red box apc, CE dash bezel, OEM whale tail (I have since taken it off and replaced with standard 900 turbo spoiler). Unfortunately, he also replaced the front seats with super aero seats and had them custom dyed a lighter shade of grey. I have since replaced the super aero seats with 900 seats in a grey that closely matches the dye job (almost perfect match). It's had a lot of work done to it but it's all part of the upkeep for these classics. I never thought I'd let her go, but I don't drive it much anymore and it needs to go to someone who knows what it is and can continue to restore and conserve it. It will need a new power steering rack (current one leaks). I have service records. The car comes with a lot of rare parts (extra spg panels, super aero wheels, super aero seats, whale tail, louvers etc...). More pictures upon request. Serious inquiries only. I prefer email as a way to initially communicate.

Color: Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 150,000 Price: $2000
The car is rust free. The seats and exterior paint job are original but the front seats are experiencing some wear. The engine is in good condition but the power steering and turbo need some work. There is a slight frame crack above the left front tire on the side panel. The transmission has recently been rebuilt, all the hoses in the engine have been replaced, and the car has passed a smog check recently. The car drives great and is durable, as I was able to drive the car from Los Angeles to San Francisco with no issue. I also use it for my 45 min commute in the mornings for work. The radio works but the dashboard is slightly broken as the odometer shows 850,000 while the car has only 150,000, which I have work reports to prove the mileage. The radio works but the air conditioning doesn't cool and the sun roof does not work.

For sale is our trusty 1989 Saab 900 Turbo sedan 5 speed. We are the second owners and have had her since 1999 when we bought her with 57k. Her first owner was a doctor in Madison WI who purchased and had her serviced at Zimbrick Saab. She has been a great car for us and I have always planned on keeping her forever and restoring her to as new condition but life sometimes has other plans and it is time for her to find a new home. She has been a garage queen the past 4 years or so and seldom driven. New brakes and maybe tires are likely in order before any driving of any real distance. I have rotors and pads, just not the time. She currently has Continental Pro Contacts on 9000 rims, original rims with a very old set of Nokians come with. She has had her head gasket replaced and a new clutch put in by Tom Mueller of European Auto House in Mequon WI. Tom has been my go to indy since my first Saab in 1991. Many other maintenance items, new radiator and headliner come to mind, have been done in the last 7 or 8 years. The AC currently doesn't work and the second fan is out but I do have it. This would be a great car to restore. Please don't hesitate to ask questions or request more pictures, happy to share and really want her to go to a good home. Thanks for looking! 1983 base model, 5 -speed, Air conditioning. This car is probably a parts car but could still be drivable with some work. Needs clutch. Some rust. Turn signals work, but don't automatically cancel. Front brakes have the classic "reverse clunk". Interior and headliner are good, engine is quite good. Transmission is fine, I changed oil religiously and had it serviced regularly since I bought it new in '83. It is currently smogged for California. Starts and drives, but clutch is pretty far gone. AC works. Odometer stopped working at 245,000 but not many miles added since then, probably less than 10,000. Wheels and tires good, with probably 25,000 miles of tread still remaining. This car has lots of good parts.

The odometer has been stuck at 149,582 miles. I really only drive it about 3 months or 3,000 miles a year because the A/C needs a recharge. When I purchased the Saab, the headliner and carpet had already been replaced. I have only performed routine and preventative maintenance performed only by Saab mechanics. After a year of trying different Saab mechanics another Saab owner highly recommended Walter Wong from Right Solutions. Walter is a Master Technician and I was most impressed with the talent, skills, and service from him and his crew. Right Solutions has been flawlessly servicing my car for 8 years, providing me specialized knowledge including tips and tricks to improve the life and get the most enjoyment out of my Saab. As an example of how much I trust them, I drive about an hour and a half just to get there. So Cal car. No rust. Continental tires are new at about 1,500 miles. Cracked dash and leather seats. Typical leaks. Clutch slips under light load. Erratic idle probably due to bad brake booster. I still get excited and enjoy taking her out for a spin but, the time has come.

Low Mileage 1993 Saab 900 S Sedan 4-Door 2.1L. VIN: YS3AK46EXP2000524. No rust, no accidents, no smoking (still smells like leather) and garaged it's entire life until the past year after it was gifted to a granddaughter. Functioning cruise control, A/C, pristine tan leather seats. Engine looks and runs great; fires right up and solid on the road. New water pump, primary belt, muffler, harmonic balancer, original manuals in a SAAB pouch. Rear headliner is sagging but not torn. Recently started occasionally losing reverse. Had the transmission bands adjusted and remains drivable, but foreshadows a new transmission. The reason we are selling is because of this repair - and the love required to maintain it - exceeds granddaughter's budget. Car is based in Tallahassee. More recent photos available; email for info.

This lovely grande dame was my daily driver until the day the inspector said the chassis had rusted out, to take it home and park it. I did, tearfully. Have been wanting to find an aficionado to rescue her and give her new life but it hasn't happened. This is how she looked the day I parked and walked away. (Many more pix by request.) It has sat a year or 2 and is now dirty but nothing a good bath wouldn't fix. At that time everything was in perfect running condition. Just needs someone to weld the undercarriage back together and get it running again. Also needs a new headliner, has a couple rust spots by the wheel wells. Interior nice and clean. One area on driver's seat needs resewing. Leather good and strong. Previous owner put in lots of bells and whistles which I don't understand but have the papers about it. Delight to drive, of course. I can't bear the thought of scrapping or scavenging. Please give this lovely girl a new home - turn her into a creampuff again.

Beloved car of one-woman-owner. Northern Virginia. Serviced at Saab dealer and also Saab specialist (Louis) at Autoscandia in Herndon, Virginia. Recent service as of May 8, 2017 included new steering assembly, replacement of left inner and outer CV boots, replaced upper and lower radiator hoses, replaced spark plugs along with cap and rotor, replaced all four ball joints. Replaced valve cover gaskets and other miscellaneous small things including backup lights. Total costs May 8 were $3581.74. Can fax you the Autoscandia bill. This past week the backup lights stopped working and the screws that hold the rear view mirror came out. The car needs new tires. The interior is in medium shape. The radio/stereo is mediocre. The odometer stopped working at 177,000. BODY AND UNDERBODY IN FINE SHAPE.

Car has 167,000 miles and has only been driven for fun during the summers for the past 10 years or so. Exhaust, brakes, alternator, and starter all replaced within past 3 years. Very new tires, and doors were replaced due to rust. Has typical Saab Issues - leaks a little oil, cracked dash, starting to rust a little. Hate to part with this car, but I have three other vehicles and am moving soon. Motivated to sell - price negotiable.

Wonderful Saab 900S for sale. Moving and will not be able to take it. My sister and I have owned the car since about 2010, bought it at around 175,000 miles. Car is in good running condition. New radio and battery replaced in the last couple months. AC and heat both work. Paint on the outside is beginning to wear on the hood and back of the car, as can be seen in the close up picture. Cosmetically the dash has a replacement cover that is beginning to come off and plastic which surrounds the controls is peeling. Shifts well and is fun to drive. Passenger window is a bit slow to roll up, but eventually closes. Seal on one of the back windows has come loose. Original spare tire still in the trunk. Has been a very reliable car, gently used and well maintained since we purchased it. Please contact me with any questions and I will do my best to answer them. Copy of the carfax available, please just ask. Email is a more reliable way to get in touch and is preferred at least initially. Thanks for looking! More photos available in classified gallery:

This car has been my daily driver for nearly 24 years. I bought it when it had 6800 miles. I am the second owner and have kept the car garaged and well maintained (my mechanic deals exclusively with Saabs) since I bought it in 1993. Currently over 213k miles and still going strong. Paint is in good condition. Power windows, power sunroof, automatic transmission. Some rust around wheel wells and base of doors. New rear brakes and very good tires. Replaced too many things to name over the years, but have service records for most. Use synthetic oil. Dashboard has cracks typical for its age, but the rest of the interior is good. Headliner replaced a few years ago. Tan leather interior. Newer stereo system with CDX/mp3/Xm ready. A/C blows cold. It needs a few cosmetic fixes, antennae mast, horn button, analog clock, cruise control (intermittent), driver side seat heater pad, etc. but overall, the car is in good condition. I drive it every day. No accidents. I will miss it, but I need a bigger vehicle. Additional photos available upon request.
- 1990 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 6/5/2017) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 252,000 Price: $1750
Babied and garaged its entire life by both the original owner and me since 2007 at 161,000 miles. Pure stock, never modified. Always name brand premium gas and conventional 10/30 (oil barely changes color between changes). This is my sixth C900 since 1984 but it has been by far the best. THE GOOD: Shifts nicely; no popping out of gear. No leaks; I always chased them down as soon as they appear. Minimal dash cracks. New front end 2014; needed the rack but while there also did steering knuckle, axles, CV joints and wheel bearings. Alternator 2016. Head gasket 2015. 4 new Bilsteins 2014; at the same time Auto Rust Technicians replaced both rear upper shock mounts. They also replaced both front control arms in 2009. Very good body - always parked away from other cars so only 3 very small dings. 2007-2009: New heater control valve, headliner, radiator, and complete exhaust including both heat shields but not the original cat since it was in excellent condition. THE BAD: Cruise and horn quit 2016. Converted AC was fine last summer/fall but doesn't work now. Driver's seat needs typical work, and carpet has worn through. Probably needs a basic tune-up. Front passenger side floor has slight buckle from my mechanic missing the jack point, so the floor support underneath (behind the control arm) has partially separated and started to rust. SRS light came on signifying the air bag needs to be professionally checked but I just pulled the bulb instead. Rear speakers no good; left front intermittent. Equalizer works intermittently. E-brake light flickers; minor adjustment likely needed. Previous owner put a small crease along the passenger side so the rear quarter has been repainted. I also replaced the passenger door for the same reason in 2014. Paint is otherwise original and looks quite good, although two small bubbles might be forming over the rear passenger wheel well. No other known rust except typical non-structural surface rust in the nose under the hood, and some is starting to form at the bottom of the driver's door. SALE INCLUDES: 14 boxes of parts from my previous 1993 900S. PRICED TO SELL: That's everything of importance I can think of right up front. First one there takes it. Too many health and family issues pulling me in other directions so I can no longer give it the attention it deserves.

- 1986 Saab 900 3dr Hatchback (Posted 5/26/2017) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 20,950 Price: $10,000
A classic that has been preserved with the utmost care for the past 31 years. This car is all original, pristine, always garaged, never seen rain or snow. It was often washed and waxed even though it never was driven. Doors and hatch were left ajar so the rubber seals would not be prematurely flattened. This is a unique car in that it has been preserved yet yearly maintained as if it would be used but rarely left its spot in the garage. It sits on the original Pirelli's, however, also with the car is a set of 900S alloys with Michelin tires that were purchased in the early 90's but never used. Your looking at a 31 year old car that can be driven home with nothing to replace or restore just simply drive it and enjoy for many years and miles. Sitting in it reminds you how simple and basic a car used to be and frankly a real motor car you got in to drive.
This is a 1986 900 3dr Hatchback, 8v, manual 5spd, 21k miles, extra set of orig. Saab 900S alloy wheels with Michelins.

- 1991 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 5/16/2017) SOLD
Color: Beryl Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 159,500 Price: $5,500
Last year of the SPG, with Beryl Green being the best and rarest. I purchased this car in Maine and drove it across the country, which attests for its dependability. No engine lights in the dash remain illuminated upon start-up. Interior is pretty clean; seats are in good shape but the headliner is sagging. Original Clarion radio with power antenna works. Dash has a few cracks. Exterior body has some dings on the rear hatch. The rest of the body is overall pretty clean. Work since I've owned the car includes oil changes, alternator and belts, water pump, intake manifold gasket, radiator fan, fuel rail washers, headlight relay, horn buttons, battery, sunroof and window block switches replaced. Cruise control works well. Slight oil leak. Transmission shifts well and does not pop out of gear. Dash reads 159,000 miles but car has a strong engine from a 93' convertible with 135,000 miles. Work was done by the previous owner who was a SAAB mechanic. Car has minimal underbody rust for a northern kept 900, the spot that commonly rusts out has been rust proofed and coated.

Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 60,700 Price: $13,000 OBO
In excellent condition. Runs great! I am the second owner. Bought it in 1983 and it has never been driven in snow. This car was rustproofed and is virtually rust free. The driver seat upholstery needs repair and the air conditioner needs compressor repair. I have all the service manuals and two car covers. Any/all service has been done at a Saab dealership or service garage authorized by Saab. This was Saab's first production line Turbo and in 2019, this car will become a collectible car. - 1988 Saab 900 S (Posted 5/1/2017) SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 163,000 Price: $995
900 S (16 Valve) 2 door hatchback/tan interior stuck in parents' garage in West Hartford CT. Body is in great shape with no rust/dings/dents that I am aware of. I purchased & drove it as the second owner from 1993-2002. Drove it to CT in August 2002 to swap it out for my parents 1993 900 manual Turbo; it hasn’t been driven since August 2002 (and is not currently driveable). I had the intention to come back for it later – but "later" never happened and now the "venerable mater" is demanding that I remove it. The interior looks good with minor cracking on the dash. The seats are in excellent condition. I hung onto the car hoping to revive it, but the clock has finally run out on that dream. This could make a GREAT car for someone to restore. I have a clear title, and last registration (from FL).
Car will need to be towed. I am hoping a Saab enthusiast will do what I cannot and restore her, but could also be a good parts car too. Selling as whole car. Email with questions!

- 1988 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 4/22/2017) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 217,250 Price: $2,400
My Saab 900 SPG is a pleasure to drive, but I drive this car very little, so it is time to find it a loving new home. Engine, transmission and body are in very good condition. Car was painted about 8 years ago, paint is still in good condition, no rust or dents, no accidents. Car has nice new european headlights. The A/C was changed to the new Freon type and works fine. Engine has no oil or coolant leaks and does not consume any oil, was maintained with Royal Purple or Mobil 1 synthetic oil. Tires are Michelin in good condition. Will include a set of blue vinyl cooling hoses (see picture). Known defects: Odometer works and shows actual mileage, but speedometer bounces and does not show correct speed. Instrument lights are not working. Dash board has some typical cracks, and instrument overlay is peeling off. Driver and passenger seats show signs of age, with leather worn out, and the seats reclining mechanism needs to be fixed. Rear leather seats in very good condition. Windshield has a couple of nicks and a crack. Rear window film is becoming unglued. More photos available in classified gallery:
- 1993 Saab 900 Turbo 3-Door (Posted 4/22/2017) SOLD
Color: White Trans: Manual Mileage: 149,850 Price: $2800
Just took the car out of winter storage. It runs great; no mechanical issues that I'm aware of. I bought it a year ago because I always wanted a 900 turbo. I've put less than 1,000 miles on it since then; I usually drive my Viggen instead. Things to know: No accidents. Just serviced; had the door latch replaced and an oil leak fixed. Currently has an aftermarket head unit, but stock head unit/Clarion CD unit are present. There is a small dent in the rear trunk lid. There is minimal rust on the edges of the doors and slight surface rust in the engine bay. Several mechanics told me that it is typical/ not serious. A Saab specialist said "It looks like a new car underneath." Driver's power seat rods are slightly misaligned. Driver's seat leather is slightly cracked and stitching is starting to separate, and seat heater is not working. Exhaust is missing one of the U-clips, but I have the clip. Radio antenna mast is stuck halfway up, but motor makes the right noises. A/C and dashboard clock are not working. E-mail for Carfax/more pictures.
