1990 Saab 900S (Posted 12/2/2013)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 160,000? Price: $2,000 OBO
Hi, I have a 1990 Saab 900s non-turbo that I need to sell. I'm in Belmont Mass. It's perfect for restoration or as a parts car or just driving around in a cool looking car. I'm the Third owner. but the Odometer has never turned regularly for me (only in sub 32 degree driving) hence it reads about 90k, but I've had it for 7 years of mostly 6k annual driving. Lights are attached in place. (a real pain when those insert things break!) fog lights are intact but need a little repair (a rip in the covering) Mostly knobs, buttons etc are intact. The Air-conditioning is long dead (and detached) but the heat and power windows work. If I had a garage I would keep it and restore it. (and it would be in a LOT better condition). It has a sunroof - i added a deflector. Some dash lights are out- but not all of them- Right passenger panel is rusty. Although - I had the Safe-t cap frame repair (that's the side! thanks to Swedish car day for pointing that out) welded in summer 2012. I was gonna sell this in May but after new tires - well it's hard to give it up. There are other little area of rust to be attended but for the most part -everyone says how awesome this car looks (even with the right front panel issues) I have the original (tape player) radio. installed is a sony BT3800 - Except for the driver's seat upholstery the interior is intact. Tires bought in May. Many new hoses. This car drives great, hasn't had any problems with Massachusetts inspections. I've had the oil changed every quarter Comes with Haynes 900 manual.

1986 Saab 900S (Posted 12/2/2013) SOLD
Color: Silver Trans: Manual Mileage: 155,000 Price: $1,500 OBO
Classic 5-sp with sunroof that has been daily driver since I bought it in 1992; second owner. Black velour seats in excellent condition, interior very clean. No smoke, no food, no pets, rare kids. Replaced headliner. Dash has some thin cracks. No accidents. Car has been in FL, TX, NC, VA. Replaced stereo with Alpine radio/CD player. Garage kept until ~ 3 years ago. Repaired exclusively by certified SAAB mechanics; most service records available. Within last year, replaced heater core (works very well) and slave cylinder (but new moan when clutch depressed in last two weeks). Wish I did not have to part with "Saabine" after 22 years but need car for longer work commute and don't have time or expertise to continue gradual restoration. Things that don't work: AC (blows strong but has freon leak), heated seats, in-dash clock, odometer (selectively works better in cold weather/problem began 2 years ago at ~ 150K mi), retractable motorized antenna (stopped working two weeks ago/not sure why), cruise control, interior light by mirror. Has leak - think it is power steering fluid. I am looking for someone who can restore & enjoy this reliable antique.

1993 Saab 900 Turbo Commemorative Edition (Posted 11/20/2013)
Color: black Trans: Manual Mileage: 240,000 Price: $900 OBO
Great restoration or parts car but would definitely need a lot of work. This car is no diamond in the rough however the trans was good and then engine ran strong last time I drove it which was about a year ago. Interior isn't in the best of shape either and there is some rust as well around the fender. I have a new fender to replace it which is included. Number 208 on the registry. I'd like to see this car go to someone that can restore it back to it's greatness or help another to be. I've lost the time unfortunately. Price above or best offer serious inquiries.

1988 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 11/17/2013)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 122,811 Price: $3000
Beautiful SPG, gets compliments wherever it goes. A delight to drive. 122,xxx miles. Turbo. Excellent exterior; waxed many times. No rust, no body damage, no accidents. Original everything! Three owners: old lady who garaged it for her son, race car driver’s wife, and me. I’ve had it since 1998. Maintained exclusively by Saab-certified garages; all (almost?) records available. Still registered; passed inspection/emissions in August. Interior in good condition; normal wear and tear. Crack of authenticity in dash. Sunroof works. Hatchback very clean; can carry anything – fits everything! Given that everything is original, it has some quirks: Third gear has a “chipped gear tooth;” I skip from 2nd to 4th. Power steering has small leak. Original radio; worked up until recently, not sure why it isn’t working now. Power seatbelts don’t work; they are locked in the back position. This is now a third car for us and we no longer drive it very often. It is still perfectly reliable, though. Mostly it sits in our garage and breaks our hearts. I adore this car, but it just isn't the right one now that I have little kids. I want someone to have it who can really love it.

1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 11/17/2013)
Color: Scarab Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 152,000 Price: $5900
Picked this up to keep for myself but have another car I am restoring so this one needs a new home. This is a 1992 Saab 900 Turbo Coupe, Formerly from Florida so it is pretty rust free, features a nice shifting 5 speed transmission, power windows and central locking system which works. Headliner is in nice shape no typical sagging issues. Has 152k miles on it. Four brand new tires. Has Bilstein shocks on all four corners. Runs and drives quite nicely and is in very nice shape. I was going to finish up a few cosmetic things to make the car perfect, the major thing bugging me was the cracked dash. I have a perfect one to install and will do so if I can find time which is a rare commodity for me these days, if you are not to concerned about the dash I can leave it as is and include the good one in the sale and knock some money off the price. Also the hood and part of the left front fender were repainted due to some clear coat peeling issues. I had the work professionally done, it matches pretty well but just thought it was worth mentioning for the sake of being honest the rest of the paint looks really nice. I can also include a spare set of rims in case you decide you want to drive it in the winter you can have winter tires mounted on another set of wheels, and a roof rack. Link to more photos: Click Here. I am asking the price above for the car but the price is pretty flexible especially if it's going to a good home... If interested I can be reached at phone number below.

1984 Saab 900 8v Sedan (Posted 11/12/2013)
Color: Beige Trans: Manual Mileage: Price: $600
Running and driving Saab 900 sedan. Overall in OK condition, would make an excellent winter driver or second car to use while your turbo is under repair. Car has not been driven daily for at least 3 years or so but is driven at least every few weeks and continues to be pretty reliable, even in the winter. Drives pretty well in the city and on the highway. Tires are in decent condition all around. Car does have some rust on it! Recent work (last year or so) includes: Front calipers and rotors, front passenger shock absorber, driver side inner tie rod and ball joint, shift linkage part (can't remember what it's called). In the past the car was owned by an enthusiast so the engine and transmission have been rebuilt relatively recently, although I do not know exactly when. The problems: Transmission still has issues after rebuild. 2nd and 3rd need to be double clutched when it's cold (fine after 5-10 minutes) and there is a slight whine in 3rd if I remember correctly. Other things include: Power steering leak (sometimes hits exhaust which can be annoying), turbo exhaust (kind of loud), radiator fan has to be plugged in manually, trunk latch works from the inside only, water leak onto passenger floor, rough paint, rough interior. Just rough all around really! Car definitely has some rust from being in Minnesota. There have been repairs made to the trunk and the passenger floor with fiberglass if I remember correctly. I don't think the rust is affecting the integrity of the car right now though. I also have some spare parts and a roof rack for the car.

1989 Saab 900 Turbo 4-Door (Posted 11/11/2013)
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 318,000 Price: $2,500
"Black Saabath" came into my life on March 11, 1989 when I drove her off the showroom floor. In the succeeding 24 years, she was a daily driver for the first 11 (mostly highway), with light-to-moderate duty ever since. But light did not apply to the care she was given. After dealing with the dealers for the first some 43,000 miles, she has since been lovingly maintained by Steve Kovatch of Steve's Import Auto Repair (409.886.5162). Let's just say that I put all four of Steve's children through parochial school - and then some. The resulting maintenance records are extensive - and that's only the mechanical side. Her appearance was afforded equal import with a reserved spot in the garage, Mirror Glazing every 3 months, ongoing plastic and leather conditioning, etc. But when I found out that she needed new drive axles and drive joints, I knew the time had come to say goodbye. She also has a few other needs - reinstall a/c clutch face and replace turbo cooler hoses. Regardless, she's still very drivable and quite easy on the eyes. Now she's looking for a new home with a promise of many more miles of service to that right individual with the knowledge, time and passion for a classic.

1988 Saab 69,300 Original miles just barely "broken-in". Recently invested over $3000 in this vehicle having both fuel pumps, filter, 4 injectors, ignition switch, brake master cylinder, brake lines, proportioning valves, and time relay fan. Interior is good and clean with the exception that the headliner is starting to hang a little. The engine is strong and has lots of life.

1992 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 10/23/2013) SOLD
Color: Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 198,000 Price: $5000
I’ve owned this car for about ten years (my ninth Saab) and it’s always been well cared for by Dana Motors of Billings, MT (selling dealer) and Evergreen Engineering. Less than 100 miles ago) spent $thousands on items like new Euro spec headlights, AC compressor, shock absorbers, brakes, windshield, wiper motor, battery cables and freshly painted hood (clear coat was peeling). Also has recent fresh turbo, clutch, starter, main seal, and Kenwood satellite-ready stereo. Has upgraded poly suspension bushings, poly motor mounts and poly alternator mounts, upgraded dash speakers. Has rare factory rubber hatchback floor guard. Comes with good road tires on factory alloys plus studded snows on factory alloys. Only negatives are slight headliner sagging , wipers won’t self park, minor cracks in dash (have carpet), protective seat covers are shot but leather is OK underneath, cruise control non-functional. Runs beautifully, no smoke, uses no oil. Never smoked in. Never hit, air bags never deployed, no rust ever. This is a good, sound Saab Turbo, I hate to see it go but I have too many vehicles (and projects).

Saab owned by one family for 29 years. All original. Receipts from service since 1984. Odometer failed - original miles less than 90,000 (I know this because it was used to drive to and from high school). Interior worn. Runs well. Bands in automatic transmission probably weakest point. Great restore project because of low miles. 4 studded snows - great condition part of sale. Additional photos upon request.

1988 Saab 900 Turbo SPG (Posted 10/18/2013) SOLD
Color: Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 105,000 Price: $7,800
Update - Reverse gear has been fixed. It used to pop out occasionally; it now
fully engages and no longer pops out. Well, it's time I got a new car with an
automatic transmission that the wife can drive when we trade cars. So, I'm
putting my 1988 Saab 900 Turbo SPG up for sale. I'm the second owner and she
just turned 105K. Recently had the AC converted and new brakes. Paint, body,
interior in amazing shape. Only issues are minor - idle hunts the first minute
she starts cold, then settles down; reverse occasionally pops out - holding it
in gear prevents that from happening. I'll be sad to see her go. I've owned a
99E, an '85 SPG and a '92 9000CD and she has been the best of the bunch.
Bluetooth enabled stereo with new speakers and a set of show tire come with her.
First 23 years and 64K miles were spent in DC. That's where I had it shipped
from. No rust underneath, or anywhere else other than a couple of spots smaller
than a shirt botton where there was a paint chip. So, only the last couple of
years have been in the midwest. I know there is a small amount of rust that
started in the inside bottom of the driver's door behind the seal, but the wheel
wells are clear as are the other trouble areas. From 1984 to 1991 only 7K SPGs
were shipped to North America. There aren't many left in this good of condition
with this low of miles. The paint and interior are in great shape, I get
compliments often on how good it looks. Additional upgrades/addons coming with
vehicle. Snow tires. Garbage can - fits under passenger seat - OEM. Vent covers.
New stereo (Bluetooth)With hands free microphone. New speakers -- front and
back. Trunk Mat. Cargo box. Motor Mounts (April 2011). Master Cylinder
(2011/2012). New pads on all 4 tires (Sept 2013). New rotors -- front (Sept
2013). Bentley Saab 900 guide. Matched paint and clear coat. Re-built sunroof
motor. Converted AC -- (June 2013). Dash -- crack-free (except for one small 1"
spot). Bad: Headliner starting to dip a bit -- not sagging. Idle-hunts for first
30 seconds on start; idles and rides fine after. Alarm disabled. Slow window
1985 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 10/17/2013)

Engine and transmission in excellent working order. Original mileage. Good tires, brand new battery, belts and hoses all round. Paint is good with no rust, dashboard is great, headliner is good. Only issue is missing lower back seat bench (I bought it that way) and driver\'s seat leather isn\'t perfect. Replaced: fog-lights, radiator, windshield, water pump, alternator, starter, IAC valve, rear hatch gas-struts, windshield wipers, both front wheel bearings, windshield wiper assembly, interior fan motor and the heater control valve, muffler. Comes with an OEM VDO lighted Volt meter/Oil Temp and Oil Pressure gauge in lower console. E-code EURO headlights. Carpeted dash. OEM rear window louvers. Pioneer AVIC-N3 CD/DVD player with fully integrated GPS navigation touch screen system. Premium Kenwood speakers throughout.

Color: Blue Trans: Manual Mileage: 221,313 Price: $950
This car is beautiful, except the transmission on needs re-built. It\'s stuck btwn 5 & R. Clutch is fine. More than half it\'s life was in California. While in the east, we rarely drove it in the snow. We have meticulously maintained this car by going only to Saab specialists. The paint is in great shape overall. There are just a couple rust spots that are still below the paint\'s surface-minor and fixable.Tires have less than 10K. Interior is excellent-small crack on the dash and some of the seat seams need mended. The cloth ceiling has been replaced and is perfect. The car is currently parked outside at Shaftsbury Saab, 1594 Route 7A, Shaftsbury, Vermont. Feel free to drive by and look at it and talk to them about it.

1990 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 10/2/2013) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 160k Price: $4,800
I have a very clean 1990 SPG up for sale. It's a 5-speed that shifts and drives great with cold air (134a) and no know issues. The car is in great mechanical condition and outwardly the appearance is awesome minus a few minor nicks and dings. The inside is in good condition with a tight headliner, good leather, and minor cracks on the dash in usual spots. There is no rust at all. The only thing she needs is probably new shock, but the tires have 80% of tread left. **The car also comes with an additional set of wheels and tires which are Super Aeros and have been re-powder coated** This is my daily driver and listed below are all of the things I've had done within the last 4 years... All three motor mounts have been replaced as well as the following. alternator, starter, fuel sending unit, rotor, cap, and wires, fuel pressure regulator, heater control valve and o-rings, turbo oil supply line, Fuel filter, all of the belts, rear speakers, clutch master cylinder.

1991 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 9/30/2013)
Color: Beryl Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 146,000 Price: $6,500
The last year of the SPG, and one of only 109 Beryl Green Poly SPGs ever
manufactured. This car is inspected through June of 2014. The 5-speed shifts
nicely, the clutch was just replaced with a Sachs system, and the Mitsubishi
Turbo spools up great. It has 16 inch Super Aero rims, and an SAS Whale Tale,
with side vent covers. The interior is nice with decent leather, a recently
re-done headliner, OEM Saab Thermoplastic Floor Mats, and the original Clarion
stereo with graphic equalizer. The air conditioning was updated by
professionals (R134a) one year ago with new hoses, new condenser, new
Receiver-Drier and a few other new parts, and it works great. New paint was
applied in 2010 by a body shop - not perfect but still a nice job. A few small
rust repairs were performed prior to the new paint. The brake system (ABS) was
flushed in Sept. 2013, and the transmission lube was changed with Honda MTF. All
systems on this car work - interior and exterior lights; heated seat; cruise
control; radio antenna retracts; Air Bag (SRS) is fine; ABS is fine (8-10
pumps). I can't think of anything which DOESN'T work on this car! The cons:
Will need tires fairly soon, and the dash is starting to crack in the normal
places. The left & right control arm areas have been carefully & neatly
repaired using Skandix panels. More pictures available, or call for more
information. Price is firm.

I am the ORIGINAL OWNER of this Classic Saab. This is a California car that I
babied from the beginning; always garaged, never smoked in, and I wouldn't let
anyone eat in my car either (not kidding). I even had my Saab shipped from
California to here on the East Coast. I have all of the service records for my
car as well as the original leather binder with the owner's manuals. The Saab
has never been in any accidents, no dings, no rust. Always grabs attention when
I drive her around town and is still going strong. The front leather seats have
both recently been replaced and look awesome. The only reason I'm passing the
torch, is because I'm downsizing to one car. This Saab is probably the best car
I've owned. Serious buyers only please.

This 900 has body issues that will be addressed via extensive bodywork and makes up a large part of the restoration. In addition to numerous brand new ZERO mileage parts installed for the new owner, such as a new clutch kit and slave cylinder, new rear brake calipers and front and rear brake rotors and pads, a 1991 900 S is being sacrificed for various donor parts such as 2 good fenders, 2 good doors, a new headliner, 2 nice headlights and grille, and other backup parts. The Talladega Red SPG is a very impressive and classic SAAB when in good shape like the pictures shown and I have one to Restore beautifully and a dedicated newer model donor car for bodyparts and interior parts and access to an array of brand new parts and everything needed to custom build and restore a great Talladega Red SPG for a new buyer. You would be the 3rd owner as this SPG has only had 2 prior owners ever drive it. 1990 Saab 900 S (Posted 9/26/2013)
Color: Cherry Red Trans: Manual Mileage: 150k Price: $4,750
I've reduced the price for this fun and sporty 1990 Saab 900-S. I am
the second owner, and have maintained it well. It has been kept indoors and
driven regularly (almost daily). New head gasket and many other minor repairs
since I purchased it. Passed strict inspection in PA. I drive it often and even
take the kids to school in it --- the kids love it. The car drives GREAT
(tuned up by a Saab/Porsche specialist). Everything works except the A/C needs
to be recharged. Pictures here.
If that site doesn't cooperate, email me and I'll send you pics. I regret to
part with this --- my favorite car ever!

1992 Saab 900S (Posted 9/4/2013) SOLD
Color: Green Trans: Manual Mileage: 127,000 Price: $3,700
Beautiful, immaculately maintained 900S, 127K miles. British racing green/tan leather. Third owner, always garaged, no dash cracks, nonsmoker etc. It's our weekend car, so mostly highway miles. I have the oil changed every three months no matter how seldom we drive it (Never gets to 3k). New Yokohama tires this summer on 15x5.5-inch cheesegraters, and a set of new Continental snow tires (~1,000 mi) on 15x5 soft spokes also included. Everything is 100% original/stock, including the Clarion tape deck, CD player, and EQ-wired to play and charge an iPhone. Super pro install. No expense ever spared. It's no show queen, but it's about the prettiest regularly-used Saab you'll ever see. Clean title in hand, only selling because I need a 4WD. I have a folder full of receipts for everything that has ever been done to it, including these recent services: - New Starla exhaust last week. - New rear brakes at the beginning of the summer. - New shifter linkage last month. - New everstart battery this spring. - New balljoint last fall. - New suspension and urethane suspension bushings last year. - New fuel pump and sending unit last year.
1986 Saab 900 SPG Turbo (Posted 8/17/2013) SOLD
Color: Grey Trans: Manual Mileage: 172,111 Price: $500
Selling this with a heavy heart; it sat too long (~3.5 years) as we couldn't afford to fix it. This SPG has 172,111 miles on the odometer. Grey leather interior, 5-speed, power sun-roof. Rear hatch struts still work! Stock turbo engine pulled good and strong when it was last driven. Good car for parts or possible restoration. Car is complete except for the security system and the SPG three-spoke wheels (they weren't on the car when we bought it). We would really like for this Saab to go to a good home where it can be restored or at least live on in other Saabs through its parts.

1990 Saab 900 Turbo (Posted 8/1/2013) SOLD
Color: Black Trans: Manual Mileage: 86,000 Price: $4800
1990 Saab 900 Turbo. Very straight and runs really well. We bought it early this year from a local dealership thinking we will use it once in a while but too many cars in the household and too many insurance risk. So have to let it go. I really don't know much about the car and won't pretend I know but I will tell you it runs and drives like a very solid low miles car. No rattles or funky sounds. I put in new tires, did all belts hoses replaced, fluids changed, new tune up etc. A/C works, sunroof works, radio and power windows. Only thing that does not work is the power antenna but radio gets a good reception. Headliner is good, seats are cloth and in good shape. Paint is solid and very nice. No peeling or fade spots on the body. No RUST. Always a TX car from what the dealership said and what I can see. Carpet is very clean and original. Brakes are great. You can fly down and drive this car back if you wanted to. Please understand that this is a 1990 model and I'm an individual, not a dealer and can't provide warranty. You will buy it as is where is without a warranty expressed or implied. Again, it is what it is. A solid driving and looking Classic Saab 900 Turbo. The bumpers have some fade spots from the TX sun but nothing that can't be restored. All shocks and suspension are very tight. Honestly I enjoy driving this car a lot more than my new BMWs. It has no leaks or burn any oil, coolant etc. Never over heats in 100 degree TX heat in traffic. etc. More Photos. If you are serious, give me a call. The ODO meter is broken and I'm not sure how many miles are on it but I doubt if it is much more as the car drives like a low miles classic Saab.
