We just got an 05 Aero so I can give a few perspectives on your issues:

RIDE: Honestly, I don't find it that harsh. We had a G35 with the sport suspenstion, and THAT was a harsh riding car. Handled great, but at a price! The Aero will feel the bumps, but it's a much more solid feel than any other sports car I've driven.

FONT END CLEARANCE: yes, this is a problem. We already lightly scraped the bottom trying to get up my in-laws driveway. Remember, the aero not only has that spoiler, but the suspension is 10mm lower and the tires are 45 profile, vs. the 55 profile of the other 93s. Gotta watch out for parking curbs, no way it's going to go over!

DIFFERENCES: The interior has two big differences that made us choose that model. First, the seats have much better support in the Aero. Saab needs to push away from that soft, non-perferated leather. Too much sliding around in turns. At least the Aero's are supported well in the sides.

The second major differnec ewas the aluminum trim over the wood. We hate, I mean HATE wood trim! The Aeo has very nice aluminum trim inside, very tasteful, no grandma wood panels!

Also, The aero has the cool AUX input in the console. Runs the ipod right through the stero with excellent sound and voume control! I believe the Aeo is the only one with paddle shifters in the steering wheel. Again, very cool!
