And yes I posted a while back about the EPA scores being better on the V6. It's a tough call between CO2 and NOx. :-) Even with my stock 2.0T, I find myself unintentionally outaccelerating other cars at stoplights. This is my first manual transmission car and I'm enjoying it.
On long trips, the 15% advantage can mean the difference between filling up and not filling up, thereby saving on overall trip time. :-) The part about less time at the gas station is an analysis I should run calculations on to see how much money it's worth.
I have a joke about that one (in extreme cases)...
"Those who drive gas guzzlers are part-time gas station attendants for themselves."
