But, ah...but I'm arguably getting more thrill per gallon for that gas... ;-)
Don't get me wrong, I'm not knocking the 2.0T-it's a wonderful car and a great value (especially compared to last year's Linear version). I liked it alot. My analysis was not to question your car choice, but to show what I was thinking in my car buying process.
My personal choice was to get the Aero. Had I got the 2.0T, I would've first changed the wheels to at least 17" and start thinking of adding a Nordic Stage I ECU upgrade down the road...followed by possibly adding sport springs and such. In that setting, the cost on aftermarket parts easily justifies the price of the Aero, while getting the factory warranty and the bonus of the Aero Academy.
There are no losers in either scenario. In the end, you have a SAAB. :D
Ironically, the V6 Aero has a better EPA Air Pollution Score than the 2.0T (7 vs 3) , with the 2.0T getting the slightly better Greenhouse Gas Score (6 vs 5), mainly due to its better fuel economy.
