Hello people!
I'm looking to get a used Saab and I finally got down to these 2 and I really need some advice before I decide.
The first is a:
03 9-3SS
Black w/ grey interior, Automatic
Linear w/Launch Package, Cold Weather Package, The Dual-Zone Climate Controls (Hate those turn-knob ones), Xenons
It already has about 15k miles and still has that factory warranty from Saab (is it a 50kmile/4yr warranty plan?)
The second is a:
02 9-5Aero
Black w/ tan interior, Manual (But of course...)
Aero Package, yes with the Dual-Zone Climate Controls, Xenons
This has 27k miles, still has the factory warranty but I would think it should be ending soon?
I am really attracted to all the knobs, gadgets and "infotainment system" that they have in the new 9-3. All that gadgetry looks really fun to fool around with. BUT, I heard the sound system is really reaaaallly baaad. Other than that being the first-run model, I would think it has a lot of lil' glitches here and there.
On the other hand, the 9-5 is an AERO. Unfortunately its not a wagon, but its manual! (Yea I'm a stick kinda gal). The AERO does have that horsepower advantage, but it lacks the kind of gadgetry in the new 9-3. Although, the Harman Kardon sound system has been good to many and definitely beats the 9-3's.
Right. Ok here's the deal, I love Saabs and I love 'em both.
Now these 2 are around the same price, with perhaps the Aero coming up a bit more expensive (at most 1 grand). What should I do? Actually does the 9-5 Aero pull up pretty comparable mileage to the 03 9-3 Linear? I don't really know if the Aero is a gas guzzler since it's pretty powerful, but I've heard it does get pretty good mileage. I need advice!! Hellpppp!!
Thanks in advance!
