You can just get the xenon lights, not a whole package in 02. You can tell if it has rear park assist by the four little indents on the bumper trim. I would call the dealer and see if it has them. If it has that it has the rain sensing windshield wipers which was my favorite feature.
Overall the 9-5 is a nicer car IMO. Its much more refined and will handle better overall.
Regarding the depreciation -- actually the older car is better since the first 2-3 years is the worst for depreciation so the aero has already depreciated the most. The 03 aero will have much more overall depreciation because it is newer. Mileage at those levels is irrelevant and unless you pile on 20K+ miles a year won't make a difference. At current cost the difference in value over 13K miles is negligible. All that said the aero will hold its value better.
Go with the one you like better. Based on your post I can tell you favor the 9-3 Linear. Go for it. I wouldn't base anything on our opinions:) Both are great cars. I miss my aero greatly -- pic below.
