I have yet to find an engine of 97 and newer where I needed to use a torque of more than 60Nm (44lbf-ft) to loosen the head bolts.
Most bolts comes loose with between 45Nm (33lbf-ft) to 55Nm (40lbf-ft).
Valve cover bolts are another issue that started with the NG900 model.
Before that we never saw any loose valve cover bolts from factory but with the introduction of the NG900 model and up I see loose valve cover bolts all the time.
After I tighten them the same way I have always done it they never come loose by themself again.
