Wheel Collision Center - Caveat Emptor

Some of you might have read about my story with Wheel Collision Center down below on nosaabsnob's Tires and wheels and where? thread.
They were mentioned by some folks on the bb and I purchased a set of BBS 2 piece wheels from them. Terrible condition upon receiving them! I contacted them this morning and the ending of the story is that I will be sending them back at my expense for a refund.
However, they will not refund my shipping cost ($80 both ways - $160 total). I'm not very happy about that but I don't know what other options I have at this point. I've already paid for the wheels and they are sitting at my home so I don't have any leverage on them. And given the poor condition of the wheels, there's no way that I'm going to live with them. Everytime I would wash the wheels, I would get upset. I'm not expecting perfection from refurbished wheels but these are far from it.
They mentioned during the conversation that there is not much they can do about fixing the pitting. It is what it is. They can try to mask it but I'm not very confident that they could fix it any better the second time so I don't want to throw money after the bad.
And get this, if I decided to let them fix it when it gets shipped to me, I would have to pay for the shipping AGAIN. No thanks, I'd rather take a sharp stick in my eye.
So as I said in the subject line, caveat emptor or buyer beware. They have had good response from others so I may be the exception. My guess is that they do a good job on wheel straightening.
They were less than up front about the condition of the wheel prior to the sale. I would not classify my wheels as "refinished MINT condition wheels" (their description and emphasis, not mine - you can judge for yourself, I've posted the pictures in the other thread).
Now where can I find a set of BBS RK-II's at a decent price... anyone want to barter for a set of Klingon's and cash? ;)
