...then my odds of failure are exactly the same with a new one as with this old, reliable one, right?
Of course I don't want to be stranded and pay for extra repairs to the catalytic; who would? But if there is no life span for the DIC and if chances of failure are equal with all DICs, then, if I'm understanding this right, changing this out or not is a total crapshoot. My old one could go tomorrow; but so could my new one, right?
