particularly if you have a lot of short trips and more frequent starts. I am averaging a battery every one to two years here in Florida which is not unusual. Battery normally goes during the first few days of high heat in the Summer. Nearly all the cars I have had in Florida have experienced this.
Failure on NG900s, OG9-3s and 9-5s may be preceded by a couple of hinky starts where wierd things seem to happen to the door locks or other electronic items. I have noticed that happening but it has not helped my surprise when the car then did not start. Not a lot of warning.
