So I have been reading ont his board that 36psi is required for the Aero tires (17") yet when I checked inside my driver door for the mfr info label,
it says 42psi !!! I didn't see anyone below say they were running at 42psi?
Areo owners what does your car tire label show on your door side?
ALso, what a bunch of phoneys these tire companies are. First, I got a flat repaired several weeks ago and only a month later when the repaired tire was giving out did I check my pressures assuming that the tire company knows what they are doing. Seems they bled all mt tires down to 22psi - good for wearing them all out and getting new ones.
I took my wifes Volvo over for a balance rotate, and when I picked it up the ticket said 32psi, when the car specs on the gas cap called for
36/41psi!!!
When I was getting new tires for my Aero, they spec'ed 32 psi. I said no way should be 39... they grumbled but obliged. Now that I have seen the door label on the caR SHOULD i BE UP TO 42?
Seems atht tire maintenance for these outfits is to put your tires in a wear out fast condition.
