I was at the dealership today getting my new fob reprogramed (I am so happy, it has been very frustraiting not to have the remote, how did I live without one before...)anyways, I asked them about the cold start issue, and he told me that what they have seen most often come in, is that there is a valve on the gas supply line that in coldish weather can stick open after the car is shut off. this causes the gas to flow back into the gas tank. if this happens the car the next morning will crank for a bit before the gas gets worked through the line again. He said that he has only really seen it in semi cold weather, not in the extream heat or cold. he has no explanation for why it happens, just that that valve seems to be the issue. and that to change out that valve is over 800 in labor and parts, and totaly not worth it.
