You should replace the top idler pulley at each belt change as it spins the fastest due to its smallest diameter and is known for failure before the second scheduled belt change at 120K. Luckily this is the easiest one to access.
The pulley on the tensioner can be predicted to last 120K and beyond, as can the center idler located above the crankshaft, but they should be inspected for excessive wear while you are removing the belt.
The short belt option eliminates the need to replace the center idler (a very difficult job due only to it's location), but many who have gone this route regret it later. It seems to be common to experience excessive vibration from the power steering pump with the short belt.
I replaced all three pulleys at 105K miles and re-used the original tensioner. The upper idler had a distinct clicking sound when spinning it on my fingers after removing it. The other old pulleys spun free and silent.
Final recommendation, FWIW: new upper idler pullley, new long belt, and inspect the other two pulleys before putting things back to gether.
