Hi All,

2001 95 Aero
90,000 miles
17 inch BBS wheels

I have noticed that the distance between the top of the passenger front wheel and the fender above it is greater than the distance between the top of the driver front wheel and the fender above it. The difference is about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch. No noises or clunks at all as I drive the car. I bought the car used with 67,000 miles on it.

I called my Saab dealer asking about this problem and can it be fixed with springs/struts. He said without looking at the car, it is more then likely due to the front strut(s).

I was also told that Saab makes about 10 different struts that would fit a 95 between the years 99 and 05. He would need the part number from the existing struts to find the exact replacement.

Then I asked if parts from an 02 Aero would fit my car. He said maybe and would depend on what was in the car already. (I asked about the 02 Aero suspension as someone on this board suggested that it was a good upgrade to the 01 Aero suspension)

He also mentioned the sport suspension. This would stiffen the ride of my car assuming I dont have the sport suspension.

I was not aware of the sport suspension. What is it? I thought the Aero had the biggest motor and power AND the sportiest suspension. But maybe not.

Any idea how I can tell if my car has the sport suspension?

Any idea what could be wrong with my car ride height?

Thanks
Rich Maurin
