You may have seen my posts on this before but the short list is;
- Saab OEM trailer hitch (with anti-sway bar installed by Casita at time of trailer delivery)
- electronic brake controller as trailer is equipped with electronically controlled trailer brakes
- Automatic Transmission cooler added
- replaced rear shocks with Bilstein HDs to get better control of rear end
- Front EBC Green Stuff pads
- later front EBC Sport Rotors with new EBC Green Stuff pads
I use Mobil 1 15W-50 routinely changed at 5k mile intervals with filter
Transmission fluid changed at twice the recommended frequency
Have to watch the 165lb tongue weight limit.
I feel based on Saabnet reporting that my 9-5 has not suffered any more failures than one driven with no trailer towing. I tow the trailer on the average 5,000 miles a year from Florida to the Northeast to attend SOC's and visit with family. We have been in the Cherokee range a couple of times. Hope this helps!
