I have no problem with people asking questions and being an engineer as long as they remember that the mechanic didn't build the car but it was a job done by engineers, designers and money pinchers.
What I dislike is when a car company takes a bullet proof design and function of a part and redesign it without really having to do that and turns it into a flimsy piece of junk that breaks all the time.
And then they redesign a flimsy part that broke all the time and turns in into bullet proof part that never needs to be replaced.
This shows me that they have the capabilities to build really good cars, but they don't feel like doing it. They just keep flip flopping back and forth so that enough parts on a car breaks in a timely manner.
And now when "microsoft" is involved in building cars, you know you will need a software update fix every so often to make the car run.
This is the amount of computerized modules talking to each other on a Network bus in the 2007 Volvo S80.
