Assuming non-directional tires: 1)Loosen all lug bolts/nuts. 2)Jack the back and switch them. 3)Jack up one side and switch them. 3)Do the other side. Inspect everything, check the air pressure in all 5 tires. I use a battery powered drill/driver to run the loosened bolts off and to run the HAND STARTED bolts back on. 3/16 of a turn after the bolts seat solidly equals the correct torque setting. I took the advice to dedicate a 1/2" drive breaker bar and socket to this task. It is truley amazing how fiercely some garage and tire shop monkeys will tighten these bolts. They must like the machine gun noise the impact wrench makes. SUGGESTION: The advice on this board to wire brush the hub and coresponding hole in the alloy wheels and to apply anti-seize is invaluable. Both 9-5's in the family,a '99 and an '02,benifit from this treatment.
