Definitely take the plunge. Currently have 2003 Aero with 145000 trouble free miles. Great power, handling, comfort. Maitenance is easy DIY, problems are few and far between. This is my 4th Saab, 3rd 9-5 in the family. Although I have loved my BMW 740iL and Audi A6, the repairs ate me alive. Back to Saab and happy motoring. This board is the added benefit of Saab ownership, partial to the 9-5 side of the board. My son plays on the 9-3SS side but I find more info here. Good luck!
