That's why I do what I can to keep it in lockup. I feather the throttle where possible, and shift down to 3 when that's not working. Naturally, I'm slowing on upgrades, just like the big trucks.
Yes, the function seems normal. The question is, why on some legs of the trip does it seem to behave better, staying in lockup at higher torque levels? Or maybe it's altitude, and I'm seeing higher relative boost, but the same torque output?
