I can use them from mid to late Nov-Mar and extend the life of my winter set a bit, as suggested by some. Michelins appears to be costly and widely available, though I never really liked my stock set (MXV4). For some reason, those were ok in the winter, but dry traction, cornering, and braking distance were questionable in the summer.
How do people like General Altimax, Dunlop SP Sport Sig and Bridgestone Potenza G? These are "best sellers" on tire-rack in the sub-$100 range. How do people like tire-rack, for that matter, besides the pricing? Do they mess up orders often?
