Have the mechanic check with the Tech 2 what reason it list to trigger the alarm.
It is room for 10 different reasons on the display and if the all say glass sensor or passenger door or so, it is a good reason to believe that that could be the trigger.
Many times if the alarm reason has not been reset for a long time, you can find multiple trigger events caused by many different doors and sensors and they should be ignored since they could have been triggered by the driver setting off the alarm.
So, a few weeks ago the car was under warranty and supposedly repaired? But now they want to charge you to find the problem even though it sounds like they didn't fix the problem a few weeks ago.
