Hi, I thought since we replaced the alternator and a hotwire from battery bad end to the alternator we were fixed. It seemed as okay. But then I test drove the care and did not get 1 mile and the dash lit up again with all of those warning symbals. This I know for sure. When you crank the car it is okay until the battery gets low, then everything starts flashing. I do not understand. With the car on the battery is being drawn down and the warning lights come on. You turn the car off and the battery starts coming back up. I am stumped. We have check the fuses under the hood and in the fuse box. Nothing is blown. Something is killing the battery. ALso, We do not understand how to check the new alternator. When we test it with a meter, we get the same reading as what the battery is showing. How do you get the alternator output reading with the car running? I just don't understand. I think I replaced the alternator and did not need one. Out a bunch of money. Thank you for any help, I am at a loss. Kim
