The engine cranks over with no resistance, When I manually crank it, the pistons are moving up and down. The car ran fine before, just replaced the lifters to see if I could solve the clacking noise it was making. The DIC is fine, as I tested it in my 900se. The fuel pump is turning on, and if I press in the tab on the rail some fuel comes out, not high pressure, but dribbles out. I've checked every fuse I can think of. The only two things I can think of is that the timing is off and that I am somehow not setting it correctly. Maybe my roommate wasn't right about getting pressure at the theoretical compression stroke, but I also tried starting with the cams set to the other stroke before and have flipped them and no go either. The alarm is working also, and battery fully charged.
I am at a loss, is there anything else I may not be doing correctly with the timing!? I can't think of anything else that could have occurred that would make the car in this state.
