The engine is fully assembled, just no valve cover on. I am just putting on the DIC without it, and if I get ignition I would just quickly turn it off to reduce oil mess. All the timing marks seem lined up correctly to me:( it really shouldn't matter where the chain is, just as long as all three marks line up correctly by turning the engine clockwise by hand right? When I do that all marks seem to line correctly ( I am assuming I put the crank pully mark in between the two raised marks on the timing cover at around 2 o'clock. Should I use the three white links to do anything? When at TDC, both the cams are snapping into position with their line marks at the two triangle pointers.
