I am going to try a sealer before spending a lot of time and money on mechanical fixes.
However, I am confused by the many brands and different types of sealers. Just Bar's has 4 or 5 different types of sealers on the shelves all claiming to do the same job.
I would like advice based on actual experience. I am going to try to get to it tomorrow.
My thinking right now is to flush the system to try to clean it so the stuff will stick. Then add some brand of stuff to seal my very real radiator leak and also seal the head gasket if there is a leak there too. The very large and dense white cloud of vapor for over 30 seconds makes me think the HG is leaking although the engine seems to run and idle fine.
