Some flushing machines put too much pressure on the internals of the tranny, which can lead to leaking seals and other problems. My Saab-only indy won't use one because he's seen the results come into his shop after a dealer or some oil change place used a flushing machine.
And don't count on a dealer to do a full flush. My since-departed local dealer did the change at the 60K service and only did a drain and fill. At 85K the fluid was pretty dark, so the dealer I used for that (just before CPO ended) said they did a flush, but I later realized they only did a single drain-fill. So at 93K I did the whole enchilada. That's the nice part of DIY: you really know what's been done.
I bought a case of Mobil 3309 for $77. Spent 2.5 hours of a Saturday doing a drive-drain-fill-drive-drain sequence and found it pretty painless.
