Keep your car in tune, run full synthetic and increase your tire press to 36 PSI - 40 if you can deal with the harsher ride. That will give you 1-2 mpg increase over 32 PSI. Then when it's time, buy LRR tires like Chris mentions. I like the Michelin Primacy MXV4 (not technically an LRR but I got great mpg with them on my LPT and they ride awesome) and am now trying the Primacy MXM4 on my 9-3 SS. I can pull down an easy 30-32 freeway mpg (at 65-70 mph) with any of my SAAB's in hilly terrain, more if I work at it. Overall, the 9-5's get excellent MPG for a car of that weight, comfort and performance.
