OEMs. that could be attributed more to the old ones having about 90k miles on them. my car now has 160k and the original rears were replaced at 70k in 2005 so these have 90k on them and one started leaking oil. BTW, the Euro indie that replaced at 70k them put one of the shock upper bushings (the cone shaped one) on upside down!
so far the ride from the rear and whole car really is much tighter and fresh. when turning over uneven pavement I no longer have the whole rear end wiggle and wobble. I AM having to get accustomed to the tighter response and thus feeling more of the road than I had gotten used to. again, not sure if this is difference in the shock or fact that new vs really worn old ones.
more info when I get the fronts on hopefully this weekend.
