Driving In MI 2003 Linear with 240k miles
Everything fine then a engine light no symptoms, but perhaps a slight burning smell 100miles previous I ignored
Was about to go back to Canada. Sunday
MAF original so thought to role the dice. Bought from Advance auto.
Drove away and 1 mile later CEL. What! Stopped car.
P1300. Reset. Drove more P300 and CEL. Got it to Advance auto though.
Must be DIC, I though which was Chinese knockoff.bought $300 Car quest premium which is prob also same knockoff. But desperate.
Car cranks chugs very rough does in seconds.
But old DIC back same thing.
I listened to fuel pump and I don't hear any loud buzz on start, tried to tap it to make it work no go, I think this could be it...a ultra power pump in there which is just 2 years old.
Does the CEl sound like fuel pump and or filter.
What about plugs or TB?
Does either of those fit?
I rented a car back to CAnada but will be back later this week to and towed it to gwneric Indy someone recommended
