I'm surprised you found it any better than your Accord

I purchased an Aero auto five months ago, and the eighteen months prior to that, while I researched my next car, I was positive that it would be a manual. After hearing the praise (rightfully so) on this board about the new 5A, and all of the logical reasons that it was better integrated with the new 9-5, I began considering it instead. A test drive of a manual Linear (didn't get an Aero, local dealer had no manuals, had to drive down to Fishers for test drive) didn't impress me. However, my last manual was a Prelude. It had 150,000 miles on it and still shifted like a dream. I've never driven an Accord manual, but suspect that their shifter is also pretty nice.
So, I really like the 5A, but, every now and then I wonder if I made the right choice. And I will probably continue to have those second thoughts for the next 8 years that I have the Aero (at least my wife said after spending that much, I can't get another new car for that long)
As far as feeling some vibration through the shifter, that's normal.
