It is a little rough, but I find it to be precise. My car is new and there is no question it will get a little smoother with age. While the aero is a luxury car it is also a sports car - the shifter should give some feedback to the driver just like the 17 inches wheels do;) An accord shifter and suspension is made for the everyday commute and easy ride. Honestly if that is what you are looking for the aero isn't it. The Linear rides smoother and maybe the 5spd is different -- not sure there.
