I've converted quite a few CTS buyers since arriving at Caddy Saab of Memphis. Granted, of all of the domestics, the CTS is the closest available to a European Saloon (saloon, sorry I couldn't help myself). The 9-5 Linear is an easy switch because it is similar in price and is a bigger car with more standard features. A loaded Sport Package CTS will run in the neighborhood of $39,000, the 9-5 Linear boasts all of the performance goodies, plus more safety, more comfort gadgets, etc. for thousands of $$$ less .
The CTS is a good car for Cadillac, though. We sell a lot of Caddys in Memphis, and the CTS is an affordable Caddy that doesn't drive like a cruiseship.
BTW, the CTS has borrowed a lot of Saab cues. Look at the vents and the climate control panel.
Cheers,
Brian.
