Don't use GUNK engine flush in a new engine!

Don't be overconcerned with "dirty" or "brownish" looking oil, what it means is that the oil is doing its job. Your new oil will look just as "dirty" after another 1,500 miles or so and that's no reason for alarm. According to someone here on the board, it has something to do with the piston ring design, and it's absolutely normal.
IMO, Gunk engine cleaner in a new engine is overkill and might even be bad for the engine. I would stay away from that, and all other engine oil additives/cleaners/snake oils.
Oil changes every 5,000 miles using Saab semi-synth (minimum), or better yet, using a fully synthetic oil (like Mobil 1 0W-40), is all your SAAB engine needs! With this oil service schedule, the SAAB engine will go at least 300,000 miles without even blinking an eye.
Pour nothing but the proper engine oil into the crankcase! No "extras"!
